Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa, Inc. Reviews (2)

My two dogs boarded at the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa, for five days. The place is a bit more pricey than some of the other local boarding facilities, but hey, they seemed to really care about the dogs. I have used them before. I like that my dogs stay in doors and are escorted outside.
The positive side: they have filtered automatic waters on one half of the runs, holistic solutions "to fulfill your dog's physical and spiritual well-being". They have new age music playing through out the place, in theory, to keep the canine guests calm. They have a whole list of extra services, from brush and a biscuit, to canine massage. The one that caught my eye was: "Extra One-on-one time" seemed worth while and reasonable for my two dogs.
When picking up my dogs I asked the two young men who brought me my dogs, if they were the ones who did the one-on-one time with my babies. Neither knew what I was talking about. This bothered me a bit and I have learned over the years, If you ask "management" you're not likely to find out the facts. The only fact I am sure of is I paid for extra one-on-one time for my two babies.
Besides, every Prescott native knows what happens if you drink from the Hassayampa river.....
I also inquired about a young lady named [redacted] whom worked there last time I boarded my dogs, and was informed she was no longer there, how about [redacted], nope, or [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], not there either. It seems like they have a huge turnover at Hassayampa Canine Resort and Spa.
Next time I'm taking my dogs to the [redacted] ranch. At least they only charge me for services my dogs actually get, the staff are more stable and [redacted] is always up front with me if one of my dogs is upset while I am away. Maybe that's why they have been here in Prescott for almost 30 years? I guess I'll trust my gut vs pretty exteriors and the hype. Also both of my dogs had diarrhea for two days after returning from their stay, meaning they were upset being housed there.
