Review: Our driveway was paved on September 23rd 2013, and the following spring 05-15-2014 the driveway started to crumble apart form inferior material used , We believe the asphalt used was of inferior quality than we were paying for and was not installed properly. We have filed a complaint with the Contractors Registration Board , in [redacted].We have plants growing through the asphalt in some areas , the small stones used in the asphalt mix are all coming loose and are sittnig on top of the asphaltalong with the smaller or fine black mixer used in asphalt is being tracked into our home and outsie deck. Every rain strom we get small amouts of small black stones are being washed away. If I use a broom on the driveway the stone all loosen up and pop up, we are afraid to even clean the driveway with a garden hose.Desired Settlement: We believe the driveway was improperly installed and material used was inferior and not properly layed down and rolled when material should be applied hot and rolled and compressed. The driveway needs to be dug up to virgin ground, 6" depth gravel replaced and compacted properly and hot asphalt applied and rolled at 3" compression.
