I would be willing to give *** a 30% discount on the repair of the A/C if the repair was done here If she would like to schedule the repair she would need to call our service department at ###-###-#### and ask for Dennis the service manager She would need to have the service done in the next few weeks

The vehicle was purchased for $dollars He only had $to spend on a vehicle No one would borrow him any money to buy a nicer car This was the only car he would purchase and we lowered the price to achieve the deal he wanted We all knew it had engine issues and it
was typed clearly on the buyers order We offered to give the customer $back on his purchase and he was still unsatisfied He has bashed us online with partial truths and we feel a continued relationship is not possible. In conclusion, The customer bought a $car that was in poor running condition based on his very limited budget He was aware of the issues, the engine knocked loudly, and was willing to take the chance based on his limited options. Bart ***

I am rejecting this response because:It is untrue that I bashed them online or any social forum. I spoke very politely and posted a negative review because I did not receive any solution from their end. While it is true that I had a limited budget and I understand that the car has issues but I was not aware of the extent of damage and that the purchase could endanger my life and that the car was unfit for sale and had to be forwarded to a junkyard and not pushed to a customer with a limited budget. If you look at their response to other complaints on Revdex.com, they always say that the customer was vulgar and that they cannot have a continued relationship with the customer but they do not indicate the stress and danger they put their customers into.A used car being sold by a reputed dealership without warranty must at least be drivable and safe. The sales person who reached out to me also said that "the general manager is frustrated and angry" at receiving a letter from Revdex.com and they would not offer a solution. They also have misrepresented the solution they offered me. The truth is they asked me to have the car towed by a third party junkyard for $100-150 and did not offer any solution from their end. Also, I am not in any way interested in pursuing a relationship with them. All I am asking for is a refund/redressal for the troubled danger they have put me through.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/12/09) */
I have reviewed all of the documentation from the negotiation and the purchase documents. I have also spoken with those involved with the purchase. There is no mention of navigation being installed on the vehicle at no charge or included in...

the purchase price. I assure you, we do not make decisions based on what makes us the most profit. We make them based on what is the right thing to do based on the facts of the purchase.
From what I was able to gather I can only estimate that you wanted us to include the navigation but did not make sure we knew this or that we documented this fact? Chris had stated that he went to service and received a quote for you and what you would pay to have it installed. That being the case I would have expected it to have been addressed more at that point from either party but was not.
Since it was not addressed more and not included in the price, do you feel the fair way to handle it is we pay for the entire price? That does not seem like a fair resolution to me. I feel there was some responsibility on both sides to not be clear upfront about this expectation.
Strictly for your satisfaction with the dealership, what if we paid half and you paid half for the install. (300 each) I would offer that as a solution if that would make you completely satisfied with us. We care about our relationship and future business with you.
Please let us know if that would be an acceptable resolution and if that would make you completely satisfied and if not why.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/12/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I saw your response Bart and I want you to please understand first that I am not trying to take advantage of your dealership and appreciate the quick response.
In response I ask that everyone looks at the facts. I didn't negotiate the pricing because I specifically told Chris that I was ok with that deal as long as the GPS was included. Look at the facts....
I paid for and agreed to the:
Rustproofing
clear coat
fabric protection
These items were simply rolled in to the loan and IF I would have agreed to the GPS being extra I would of had that rolled in to the loan at the same time as well.
I asked Chris in front of my fiancé [redacted] to make sure that the GPS was included on the deal and he said "absolutely"
The problem I face is I took his word for it and didn't in fact review all of the paperwork. However if you look at the nature of the deal and what in fact I did pay for then this is very clear cut showing that this was an oversight of Chris's since I would of just rolled that item in to the financing at the time of purchase.
[redacted] is available to be talked to and is able to back everything that I stated.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/12/22) */
I am sorry you feel the way you do. I spoke with Chris, looked at all of the paperwork including the worksheet and GPS was not once mentioned anywhere. Chris is as adamant as you are that he went and got you a price on the GPS and never once said it was included.
Without anything in writing, we have two different sides of a verbal story. Trying to be as fair as I can, my offer stands at splitting the cost only if that would make you satisfied. If not I understand and sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding.

Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2015/12/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am sorry that you feel that way as well considering that you are calling myself and [redacted] a liar. I spent 50,000 with you and you can tell by my actions that I had no problem paying for other added items that were much more than the GPS. That alone should tell you that I was swindled.
Clearly you are more interested in listening to a dishonest sales rep and holding on to a few hundred dollars out of the thousands you made off of this.
I had no problem giving you future business with service and additional future purchases if you would of done the right thing however your business actions speak differently and therefor will be taking this to Chrysler, the state attorney general office (Lori Swanson). I will be making sure that everyone I know in Rosemount, Hastings, and Lakeville area do not go to your business.
I am not a man of dishonesty or empty threats. I hope your couple of hundred dollars of profit was worth the business loss and scarred reputation.
I will be paying to have my GPS installed however I will be doing it with a different dealership and I will make sure they know about your practices as well.
Complaint Response Date bumped because: Holiday

I am rejecting this response because: I have already had to fix the the air conditioner in the car due to the hot weather we recently had.  I have a 2 year old daughter and was concerned for her safety so I did was needed to be done and had to pay another dealership in town to fix the air conditioner.  Since I am out of money right now and not able to pay I had to put the charges on my credit card and will now be having to pay for more the air conditioner that I should of had to.  I would appreciate if the business could help me with the motor as I have had to get multiple quotes and they have all quoted me $3000.  I would just like my vehicle to be fixed and to get what I payed for originally then I wouldn't have to be concerned about the safety of me or my child.

We worked with [redacted] on helping with repairs.  She was offered an extended warranty and declined to purchase one.   The vehicle she traded in had to have the entire head unit replaced which was extremely expensive and thus lower in trade in value.  If she wants to have repairs covered...

on the van she would have needed to purchase a warranty.  She was made well aware on several forms that she was responsible for all future repairs.  We helped her with the check engine light.  Unfortunately she feels like we should fix more even though she was repeatedly informed the vehicle was sold AS-IS.

Ms. [redacted] bought a 2004 Mazda MPV from us for $800.  The balance was WI fees and taxes.  It was in far from perfect shape.  The rear bumper was not even on the vehicle it was in the back seat.  The price was reflective of the condition.  Cars in our back row do not go even...

in for an oil change and are sold strictly "as-is" and we have the customers sign that fact and are offered an inspection if they choose for $120.  I have attached the form that Ms. [redacted] signed to that fact.  Several people at the dealership have spoken to a male friend or relative of Ms. [redacted] who has been very vulgar and unwilling to listen to any reason about the purchase.  I personally have spoken to this person and he was so vulgar I disconnected the call.I was trying to offer possibly trading in the van for something else that was in better condition and he was completely unwilling to pay any additional money. We at no time "cleared" any codes before we sold it.  The previous customer certainly may have before it was traded in but I was unaware if they did.I feel no obligation, in the light of how my employees and myself were treated by the customers, to be of any further assistance with this purchase.Bart [redacted]General ManagerHastings Chrysler Center

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/11/06) */
I looked into the history of repairs we did on the vehicle. We replaced the right axle and both ball joints. The right axle was making significant noise and was replaced the left was a minor noise and was not replaced based upon the mileage...

(155000). The customer came back with an issue with the taillights (which we fixed no charge) and nothing was on the repair order for axles. The vehicle was sold AS-IS and was signed off several times as such. I would be willing to buy the one axle that is not new for $80 strictly as an act of good will towards the customer only if that would make them satisfied with us. The customer would be responsible for the install.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 9, 2015/11/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am willing to accept this offer as I can afford the install just not install and part. I only ask that the dealer let me know where to pick up the part and when and give me written acknowledgment of this agreement in an email so I have proof of this conversation and not just their word like that last time they were to buy a part for the car an when I arrived it was mysteriously not there.
