honest and for the people,however, my experience with Hastings and Hastings was horrible Anthony C*** sold me during the initial interviewI signed for him to represent me and after that communications were downhill from him and his staff

phone callsSimple follow ups on email and snail mail documents took months
After the first months, I never heard from her and I kept getting different people

Unfortunately, sometimes individuals are severely injured and there is not enough insurance from the party causing the accident to compensate the injured party or pay all of their medical bills.  Unless there is ample Underinsured Motorist coverage, we are forced to try and get all the bills...

reduced so that the client is not out of pocket.  Our goal in these circumstance to make sure the client is not left owing any money for an accident they did not cause, as well as provide something (albeit sometimes small) for the client in their pocket.  In addition, we will frequently (when the case warrants it) reduce our fee to take the same as the client.  Clearly, when we reduce the agreed upon fee we are losing money on these cases, however we do this as a courtesy to our clients.  Most firms take a full fee no matter what the circumstance, however we are customer oriented and look at each case individually.  While I can’t speak to any particulars of one’s case (because of attorney-client privilege), I suspect that if the fee taken was the same as the amount the client received then the fee was likely reduced to benefit the client.  This is a situation where Hastings & Hastings most likely went above and beyond our obligation, unfortunately, sometimes extra effort is not received in the manner we hope it would.   We wish every case that comes through our doors would have unlimited insurance at their disposal, but that is not the case.We hope this explanation helps the customer better understand the issues at play with regard to cases with limited settlement proceeds.
