Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  Door was left on the road leaning against our mailbox as per our neighbor, since we were away.  Glad to have it returned after 5 months. We consider this matter closed.
Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: Mr. [redacted] has done work for us in the past and we have been pleased. 4 months ago he took home one of our closet doors to repair, which he had repaired previously but it had broken again, and said he would return it after he re-glued it. He was doing additional work at our house in the meantime, for about 2 weeks. When he had finished the work I asked him about the door and when he was re-gluing it and he said he was waiting for it to dry. 2 weeks later I called him about the door and he said it wasn't dry yet. A week later I called him asking about the door and he said he would bring it by.

Almost 2 months later, after many phone calls were made, he finally called back saying he would bring the door back that afternoon. I took the afternoon off from work to be home and he never showed up or called. My wife and I have both have been calling him leaving messages to please bring the door back stating we don't care if it's fixed or not but we nee the door. It is part of a set of closet doors and our house is over 20 yrs. old so it would hard to find a matching door to the other one that is there.

It has now been 4 months without returning our door and no returned phone calls or email. his phone # is ###-###-#### and his business is on [redacted].Desired Settlement: our desired outcome is: to get our door returned to us, he only lives 5 minutes away. We want the door returned either repaired or in the same condition he took it in. we would never of let him take the door if we knew it was going to turn into this. We have given Joe a lot of work and have referred a lot of people to him and we want this settled without having to take legal action.

We do want a phone call letting us know when he's returning the door so one of us can be home.

Which was unnecessary and has caused additional issues for me. I returned the door today 12/30/2014 untouched since I took it as I had no time. sorry for taking so long to respond I hadn't gotten to my mail before the holidays. Sent on: 12/30/2014 6:46:54 PM
