Response: This family was a friend before a customer. [redacted] had asked me to fix a wood closet door that her son had fallen through.. It is an old thin wood closet door. When I had gotten there, I told them that I don't think I can glue it back together. your better off just getting a new door....
[redacted] then insisted that I try and glue it back together..trying to please the customer, I did. And did not charge for it. it was not the right way to fix it and I did not expect it to hold up. Almost 2 months goes by and I get a call that the closet door broke again. I told her I can NOT fix it. you NEED a new door. very insistent she kept asking me just to glue it again.I told her I will take it back to my house so I can take it all apart glue and clamp it back together. going way above and beyond while not charging her yet again.... I had told [redacted] that I am going to [redacted] to become a firefighter and I wont be in town for some time. she said no rush. I went to [redacted] and finished December 14th. I got home to these nasty voice mails and Revdex.com complaints. [redacted] then called the firehouse getting ahold of my chief to ask him where her door was.. Which was unnecessary and has caused additional issues for me. I returned the door today 12/30/2014 untouched since I took it as I had no time. sorry for taking so long to respond I hadn't gotten to my mail before the holidays. Sent on: 12/30/2014 6:46:54 PM

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Door was left on the road leaning against our mailbox as per our neighbor, since we were away. Glad to have it returned after 5 months. We consider this matter closed.
