Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10449347, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, To the tea cake factory owners the cake as she mention she told the refrigerator was Broken, but she sold it to me anyway her employees don't know what fresh and whats not We was at the tea cake factory when they were closing Tea cake after several hours will dry out if not covered All baked goods get that wayI want my money back , I will never go over there and purchase nothing ever again I am a hard working American that when it comes to well made products I will pay for themIts a baked product , its never cover or in a package and by closing time we were never given a discount or told these products were not fresh I don't have money to throw away I work also I want my money back You can ask other customers those tea cakes get old But if I purchased lots of them because I was having a party I told her employee I was having a party that night Someone should have told us don't purchase these tea cakes they were not fresh The company don't have the time of freshly made sign on the wall , and the employees don't know to tell customers that these tea cakes are not fresh Just greed will sale you a bad product to make money And then put out bad food It food that there saling to customers thats not freshI don't give away my hard earned money either That lady lies about what she told me because her company is going under So thats why she keep saying she offered me a half a dozen , clearing knowing the truth I don't lie about people I have nothing to gain some tea cake cookies the cost each , for what is it going to do for me we should have been told Like I told you that lady the owner is [redacted] and this is why she is acting this wayI spent for cookies she need to tell the truth The way her cakes and tea cakes are not properly contain Now lets get the truth out her refrigerator was worked on between October 24, to today date she told me over the phone and she has a receipt for that and the time she told me when they bake there products is twice a day Again why do I kniw thus because she told me this over the phone friday when I was there She hang up in my face after saying [redacted] comments to me I told her employee she hung up and then the employee called the other owner she told her don't call back to the store I just wanted free cookies If I was so desperate for cookies I could have just taken the cookies and went on my way Products are not keep properly so they are saling stale food Thats the truth .I live minutes away and I just want to pick free cookies and cakes because that all I have to do with my timeNot good business practices I want my refund

It is extremely sad that our experience with a customer that claims to love our teacakes had turned out so bad!This customer had come in and bought a strawberry cake from usShe then called the next day and said the cake was staleI explained to her how our cakes are fresh and it
couldn't have been staleAfter listening to her continued complaints, I had offered to replace the cake She came and picked up the cake and told me the cake was spoiled because she had left a butter cream covered strawberry cake(!) outside since the time she took it home and all night and next dayKnowing it was the customer's fault to treat food, especially with crushed fruit in it, like that, I had still honored my promise and gave her a replacement cake.Then a couple of months later she called again and said this time the teacakes that she bought from our store were stale and needs them replaced.
We are known for our teacakes especially for their taste and freshnessThis was right before valentines day, the busiest season for any bakeryI had asked her which teacake was spoiled since I was surprised that there was a stale teacake as we bake our teacakes fresh every night and glaze them in the morningTo my surprise, she said all of the teacakes were stale and she had taken one from every flavor of our selections!
I told her it is impossible that our teacakes which are baked fresh regularly and replenished in the trays couple of times a day could be stale at allJust as a courtesy, I offered to give her a gift of half a dozen teacakes for approaching me with a complaintHer response was I will take a dozen and close this.
At this point I was shocked at this negotiation and responded with I am extremely sorry that she had this experience with us, especially since she likes our products and keeps returning to us, but since she seems to be unhappy with our products each time like this, there is nothing I can do but give her the half a dozenIn fact I had explained to her how my business which is almost years old had always followed the same principle of baking in the night, glazing in the morning and selling during the day has not changed the process from day one to nowIf they were stale that day, they will be stale todayThere was no mention of "*Word Rejected*s like me would not come in her business" at any part of our conversationShe said she will take itAfter that my employee told me she left without taking anything and threatened to complainI am sorry, but being a small business in an expensive neighborhood, I can't keep giving free food to people that keep returning and ordering food and ask for replacement on a regular basisI am still willing to stand by my offer of giving the half a dozen teacakes
