Homeowner [redacted] contacted my company with regards to remediation of the moldissue she was having in her home located at [redacted] Upon speaking with [redacted] about her mold issue we also went over our process of removalShe advised us that shewas fine with the process, so we visited her property for an inspection of the work that wouldneed to be performed and again went over the process.The attached bid proposal which lists out the process in writing for the customer was sent to [redacted] via Email on 7/7/The cost of the job was quoted at $1,Mrs.Cavanaugh approved the work to be completed and also requested to have the first and secondfloor of her home treated for airborne mold spore[redacted] requested that we knock the price down for her, so we verbally agreed to a$cash payment.On Wednesday 7/12/- I, Shawn H [redacted] and one of my workmen, Dave K [redacted] arrivedat [redacted] to complete the work on [redacted] ’s home.All personal effects from the basement were covered with poly sheeting for protection from thetreatment processThe floor joists in [redacted] ’s basement that were infected with moldwere treated with sodium hypochlorite and Tim-bor borax for protection of future moldrecurrence as per the attached bid proposal sent to [redacted] on 7/7/The entirebasement was also treated with ozone generators and fogging of hydrogen peroxide fordecontamination of any airborne mold spore.The main floor of the home was treated with ozone generators and fogging ofhydrogen peroxideHomeowner was advised that the home would need to air out for at leastfour hours for the treatment to dissipate, which is typically by 5pm of a business day[redacted] didn’t have payment for the job by the end of the business day as originallyagreed upon and said that she would need to pay with her credit card insteadPayment of$was taken over the phone Wednesday evening and processed by Square.On Thursday, 7/13/ [redacted] contacted our company stating that there was whitepowder coming from her ductwork and that the smell in her home was killing herShe believedthat the company was trying to kill her and that we better come to the house NOW, or she wasgoing to call the policeI was currently on the job with a different homeowners but assured [redacted] that nothing was done with her duct work, and that there should not be any sort ofstrong odors in the home since there had been many hours for treatment to dissipate but that Iwould come out to her home and take a look as soon as I finished up the work I was doing forthe other homeowner.My fiance Dawn S***, who is sensitive to smell asked to come with me to check out the issuethat the homeowner advised was present in the homeMy fiance and I arrived at the home and [redacted] was out on her back porch talking on the telephoneShe soon realized thatwe were there but did not immediately get off the phoneOnce she hung up the phone sheexplained on how she had to stay at a [redacted] hotel the night before with her dog and that shewould have to stay another night because the house was killing her [redacted] seemed tobe on high alert and full of anxietyI noticed this when we first spoke prior to the work beingdone but today was even worseShe kept repeating herself exclaimed over and over that shewill have to move out and sell the house because the house was killing her.I wanted to be sure that [redacted] would not be inconvenienced in any other way so Iadvised [redacted] that we would be entering the home to inspect the issueUponentering the home, my fiance confirmed that there was no smell present in the homeownershome and that it was actually very pleasant inside the home, in which I agreed.Although there wasn’t an odor present, I setup my negative air machines to pull any odors that [redacted] could have been smelling out of the homeI advised [redacted] that themachines would run throughout the night (12+ hours) and she approvedI then explained that Iwould vacuum out all of her duct work all though I did not see any white powder present.My fiance sat outside with [redacted] while I vacuumed the duct workAfter vacuuming, Iasked [redacted] if there was anything else inside the home that she would like removedor taken care of and she requested that some rugs be removed from the basement[redacted] also requested to have the carpet in her bedroom completely removedIadvised [redacted] that I would not be able to remove the carpet that night but that Iwould send my workman in the morning at 9am to remove the carpetI also advised [redacted] that my workman could spray orange deodorizing cleaner on the areas of thebasement floor joist in which were treated for mold to help dissipate any odorsI also paid [redacted] $cash to help with her hotel expenses.She agreed and was very appreciative.Before I left for the evening, I ensured [redacted] that my workman would be there in themorning to remove the carpet, to spray the orange deodorizer and to retrieve the negative airmachines from her home.I setup my workman for the very next day (Friday 7/14/17) to arrive at [redacted] ’s hometo remove the carpet from the bedroom and to spray orange deodorizing cleaner on the areas inthe basement that were treated with sodium hypochloriteMy workman arrived and completedthe job as requested by [redacted] and she was very appreciative.I have had no contact with [redacted] until an email that I received on August 1st statingthat [redacted] is dissatisfied with the work performedThis morning we have alsoreceived notice that she has also contacted the Revdex.com and written a complaint.I’ve requested to speak with her husband in hopes that we could figure out a solution, but sherefuses and is now filing disputes with Square and the Revdex.comI have doneeverything in my power to help [redacted] and to come to a resolution, but she is irrationaland demeaningIn the many years that we have operated as a business, we have never had asingle customer that was dissatisfied with the work completed on their home, let alone claimedthat we have poisoned themOur process for mold removal is neither toxic nor hazardous in anywayLiving with toxic mold is more hazardous to a person's health than the process used inremediating mold from someone's homeWe pride ourselves in the service that we provide forour customersWe feel as a company, that sadly [redacted] may be ill, but it is not fromthe remediation of her home as she suffers from extreme anxietyShe claimed on 8/1/thatshe has retained an attorney but as of today she has notThere are many accusations butnothing to back up them up on her endThe excessive work she is having done on her home isnot a result of anything that I nor our company has doneI ask that we can come to anagreement that all work paid for has been completed as agreed by [redacted] We hopethat we can have the dispute handled in a manner that does not put a negative impact on ourbusinessWe provided [redacted] with all of the necessary information prior to completingthe job on her home [redacted] approved all work done every step of the way, so it justdoesn’t make sense that she has has issue ** ** Hello ***I just got this email today.The costs of the cleanup afterwards from the mess they made of my home exceeds the original cost of the $H*** has not contacted me. Thank you for your time, I do have the email with the date and it is not several weeks later I also do have pictures and have the copies of the other bills from after the fact I kept one of the chairs to prove the product is on there and you can see the residue that was all over everything H*** did not clean out my duct work, they just sprayed them with an orange sprayI had to have ** clean them out professionally at a time Cost over $and another company cleaned up all the residue and professionally vacuumed my homeI do have the receipts and it was $*** ***s did the work Please adviseI can load photos if needed?
