We dreamed for years of building a log homeAfter attending multiple shows and visiting other log home builders we were excited to go with Stone millWe asked about financing for when we were ready to build and were assured that building a log home was not that difficultWe gave $To go toward our plans but felt like after that communication became difficultOne year later as we got closer to building we began seeing that it was not going to be easy to build in our state, Missouri After many contacts we received a PDF of our planWhen we told them about our financing issues they assured us it would be ok and sent us financial institution to contactdon't work in our state and one confirmed that we would have to put down at least 35% down and would probably not be able to sell it for its cost due to the specialty of the homeWhen we told Stone mill about this they said they were sorryWe asked if we could get any part of our money back and were told we had to go with the contract we signed and could only use this for the plan they make and if they build itI feel that they should not offer this in states where there product is extremely hard to finance and will not hold valueI feel like we were deceived and I feel this is a way for them to make extra moneyI am very disappointed in this family owned company,
