There are times that customers need these files and we do make them available for purchase.These are available for purchase because we do not charge customers for this service unless theywant the files for their own use
After completing the graphic design work on this project the customer requested that we send allof these files to the new company he had found who would do the printing work at a lessexpensive price than we were charging
We explained that these files remain the property of Hats Off and we would be happy to provideour graphic files to him for his new vendor upon payment for the graphic design work completedto create them
It is unfortunate that customers mistake graphic design for a Microsoft Word or cut and pastetype programThere is a lot more involved with graphic design and it takes a lot of time to recreatesomething electronically in addition to the communications and reviews with thecustomer, matching colors, identifying pantone requirements and creating the various file types
We are son-y that he disagrees with the pricing for this serviceWe even suggested that heinterview and hire a graphic design firm since he didn't like the pricingHe decided against this.He was provided the graphic design package, including files, colors and font guidelines for hiscompany branding and has also signed a general release
This general release was signed in April prior to his completing this additional complaint withRevdex.comIn addition, he is randomly going to every social media site doing thesaleI have done everything possible including suggesting he go to someone else and seek theirgraphic design servicesHe declined
We will not be able to comply with his desired settlementWe completed significant work forhim and then he wanted all of this work, at no charge, so he could take it to another vendor forprintingThis is not a free service that we provideIf a signed copy of the release is requiredplease advise
