complaint and his email had not been responded to until 08/02/16. We are currently in our busy season and calls and emails are taking us longer to address especially when they are not directed specifically for Warranty as we must take care of those customers first. His complaint as I understand it was that when he went to register his trailer for warranty he did not get a response back letting him know that we had received it.[redacted] voicemail or emails did not state anything about him having any trailer problems. Specifically his voicemail left on 07/26/16 stated he was calling to make sure his trailer was registered for warranty. Haulmark has not declined any warranty at this time and further more I had requested his VIN on my email response to him on 08/02/16 and his response back to me still did not include this information so that I could verify if his trailer was registered for warranty. I am currently waiting to hear back from him with his VIN and issues he has so that I can get them addressed for him.As long as the issue [redacted] is having is warrantable and within the warranty period I don’t see any reason why we wouldn't warranty it.Sincerely,Vicki KNational Warranty Manager
Trailer was not properly painted, most of the bottom is bare unpainted metal which is rusting, the areas on the top that has paint applied are starting to peel and curl away from the metal causing the frame to rust in those areas as well, wiring poorly run for the electric brakes causing a wire to...
wear through and short after picking up from the dealer to my home causing a brake system failure Short), other wiring issues left alone for them to resolve, Lights are popping out of the trailer just sitting in the driveway, Axles are misaligned by about 3/8" on the center from side to side causing the trailer to track off when towing, side gussets are poorly fitted some with over a 1/4" spacing from the side rail and only a tiny glob of weld attaching as a bridge over the gap. These are issues that I can easily see and measure from walking around the trailer and crawling under it as well as observations made the few times it was moved. I have no idea what is hidden under the panels and sheathing.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution: RepairDesired Outcome: The trailer to be transported to and from a Qualified repair facility (They Pay if not local with 6 Miles of my Home) that can remove all the rust, remove the peeling/curling paint, properly prep the metal and repaint with correct paint, Axles aligned properly, lights correctly mounted, wiring examined and corrected, poor welds properly redone, and all misaligned and short plating removed and replaced with correctly fitting material.
