In response to your March 26, correspondence, I am providing you with the following information. I received a settlement offer on October 10, which was communicated to client promptly. After a lengthy discussion Ms*** and I decided to continue negotiating, despite the
relative small nature of her damages. There were a couple of small medical bills not taken into consideration at the initial negotiation. One of them apparently is the $medical bill which was turned in to collections. On January 2, we received an email from Ms*** which we could not open due to software incompatibility According to our records, the next time communication received from Ms*** was during the week of March 16, 2018. She called three times. I had prior commitments outside the office and did not return her calls. I followed up by email on March 28, The $medical bills is a contractual obligation that exists between Ms*** and her medical provider. She has *** *** *** health insurance. I disagree with Ms***’s assertion that she made over calls to my office regarding case updates. I had her scheduled for follappointments which she did not keep. It was only recently that we discovered Ms*** had relocated to California. I have been practicing law for years and take pride in the quality of my work. In light of the fact that Ms*** is dissatisfied with my service, I have made the decision to withdraw from any further representation, and will notify her accordingly.
