First they overcharge me, and then when I questioned the lady she said oh we just increased the prices today. I said you should tell people that. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, then I watched her touch the garbage cans then begin to make my sandwich. Yes she did without changing the gloves. When I tried to get my money back (paid debit) she said we cant give you your money back. The she said what about a gift card, then she said oh we cant do that either. Not all, when I said okay how about some fresh bread. Well no you have to wait until tomorrow to buy that bread.So when a lady came from the back of the store to consider giving me bread she started to handle the bread with no gloves. I had watched the ladies in the back handling trash can handles. (I thought this was a fresh bread store). So I got some packaged goods for my money and left. This store is in trouble. The bread on the counters felt old & hard. Sad because its called Heavenly bread. No stars for this place. Oh yeathe lady was rude.Desired SettlementRefund would be nice. The items I had taken from the store were old tasting the amount was only $9.16. I suppose at this point it doesn't matte. Would only like other customers to be aware of pricing, service, quality and the sanitary process of this business.Business Response I would like to start off by apologizing to [redacted] for the terrible experience she had at my store. I will gladly refund her for the full amount of her purchase if she chooses to stop by the bakery. In regards to the incident, perhaps [redacted] did not see the sign we have on the window at the entrance which in fact says that our prices have slightly increased due to the drastic increase in egg prices. Where we normally would pay $45 for 15 dozen eggs we are now paying $114 which unfortunately caused for us to increase our prices. I will make note to make the sign more visible for our other customers to see. In regards to the sanitary matters, we are taking this complaint very seriously and having all of our employees go through extensive food handling training in order to ensure the full customer satisfaction and great quality every time. Unfortunately, the employee was correct when she said that she could not refund the purchased amount because there was not a supervisor in the store at the moment in order to authorize it. I hope [redacted] will consider giving our business another chance, but I will like to make note of the following. I understand that as a customer it can be frustrating to not receive the best service and especially not getting what you are paying for, but I also think it is important to keep in mind that it is not an excuse to yell at my employees. Other customers in the store were extremely shocked at how poorly my employees were treated and the scene that was caused in the store. At the end of the day my employees are still humans and deserve respect. Also, our business name is Haven On Earth, not heavenly bread. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did not yell @the employees. I would not disrespect people. I'm also in customer service. The employees were not helpful or apologetic. It was as if they were doing me a favor helping me. What they did not like is the confrontation when I questioned the price increase. The young lady helping me said oh we must have take down the sign. Also, only one other person came in the store and ordered something while I was there. I still feel the same way about the service I received. Now more that I have been blamed. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I have decided to forgive this new company and give them a chance to correct the mistakes. They will be refunding me my money and that is what I want.Thank you for your help and quick response.
