Haviland's Heavenly Blue Eyed Dolls

I purchased a Ragdoll kitten through *** business called “Haviland’s Heavenly Blue Eyed Dolls”. It was the worst experience all the way around. I had researched cat breeds for months and realized a Ragdoll kitten would be the perfect addition to my home. I initially messaged Heidi on *** on January 8, 2020. I asked if she had any kittens available. She told me she had a female bred and that if I put a deposit down I would have FIRST pick of the litter. Keep in mind, I have every interaction with Heidi in writing. I put my deposit down right away to secure the position. She received my deposit on January 16 when she sent me an image through *** of the payment. The female Ragdoll gave birth to 4 kittens on February 2, 2020. I was not allowed to see the kittens until they were 9 weeks old. I did not want to choose my kitten until I could meet all four kittens and ultimately decide which one I connected with the most. Remember, I was told in writing that I had FIRST pick of the litter. Due to ***, I was not able to meet the kittens when they reached 9 weeks old. I had to wait until the day I brought one home to choose. Heidi sent me pictures of all 4 kittens through March 20, 2020. On March 31st I was told that now I only get to choose between two kittens, the other two were going to someone else. Wasn’t I supposed to get FIRST pick? I tried to explain that she had told me in writing that I would get first pick of the litter. She responded with: “I FEEL IT IS BOTH OF OUR BEST INTERESTS THAT YOU FIND ANOTHER BREEDER. SORRY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING.” I had been waiting for one of the kittens in this litter since January 8, before they were even born. I was so excited, had gotten to know the kittens through pictures that were sent of them as they grew up, and had even bought toys. I was eventually allowed to still have a choice between two of the four kittens again, which still does not make any sense since I was told I had FIRST pick of the litter and still had to pay full price for a kitten. I took home a kitten on April 30, 2020. I paid $750 for this kitten. On June 19, 2020 I took my perfectly healthy kitten into the vet. Under anesthesia my kitten died of what the vet said was “an allergic reaction to the anesthesia”. I called Heidi on my way to the vet and her only response was “I’m sorry”. I only had my kitten for 50 days, a month and a half. My kitten died under anesthesia due to an allergic reaction. I didn’t get my money back for my kitten or an option for another. Heidi is a scammer who only cares about the money in her pocket.
