About 12 years ago Hawaiin Pools installed a liner and did some restoration work. I was very pleased. Last October (2014) I called twice and left messages for someone together back to me as ion my message I explained I needed a new liner and restoration work to be set up when opened in the Spring. No one ever called me back.
In late winter I called again as well as sent emails. I explained what I needed. After a couple follow-up calls I had a date set for someone to come out and look at my pool to give me an estimate. I took the day off work to meet them. On the day of the estimate the time passed when they would show up so I called. I was td because it was snowing slightly and the inspection was cancelled. I explained my situation that I took the day off and no one called to cancel the inspection as well my prior customer device issues and the person said someone would be there shortly.. The person showed up and needed my help to take the cover off to inspect. I was told I would receive a quote by email this Monday it Tursday at latest as well as they would be able to do the work and have me open by June 1st.. Tuesday passed and nothing. On Friday I called upset. The person indicated I would get a call shortlly. I received a call but was already in the middle of something. The gentleman left his cell phone number and told me to call which I did shortly. I was told I would get a call back in 15 minutes. About 90 minutes passed and no phone call! I called very upset and spoke to owner/wife. We talked at length about what a perceived as very bad customer service and was told several excuses none of which were acceptable. Eventually I was told they were not doing any more restorations due to limited help, etc.
I am now stuck without being able to get my pool fixed this year due to everyone is booked up which is why I started the process 5-6 months earlier as would be expected.
In short the historical results are good when you get them but customer service is terrible and can't depend on food through or ability of their employees tocommit.
