Hired Hawk Defense Services, a/k/a Hawk Defensive Services from 1160 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY to install a brand new 4-camera surveillance system in my home that I had purchased. Installer was paid $250 as agreed upon. CASH. Said he left his receipt book in his car, left to get the receipt book, and drove off. Left numerous phone messages for him and emails also. Owner was never to be heard from again. The outside of my home was left with black wires drapped/dangling against the white siding and black electrical tape holding wires on my home. He drilled through the exterior of the home where he didn't have to and left me with few gapping holes that I had to have filled. The inside of my home was left with saw dust all over the windows sills and on various floors. Wires were left on the floor all balled up that had to be un-raveled. The 4 cameras installed outside were not placed correctly and had to be moved. Last: the owner of this business stole some of my tools and a box of my hardware. STAY AWAY from Hawk Defense Services !

Review: [redacted], owner of Hawk Defense Services in White Plains NY, came to my home to install a wireless video surveillance system. The job was to remove the pre-existing wired system and replace it with the wireless one, install a show me how to use a dvr, install whatever needed so that I may see my cameras thru my android phone from anywhere I was located. Lacking the proper tools [redacted] drilled over 6 unnecessary hole in my masonry without patching up. He never removed the previous wired system in its entirety, I would say about 25% of it, and I had to help. One camera came with condensation and one other camera was completely misplaced in the yard (it was partially facing brick which made it so night vision was whited out). [redacted] said he was going to call the company to replace the bad camera and then return to 1. Place the camera in its appropriate place. 2. Re position the badly placed camera in yard. 3. Patch up all the holes that were made. 4. Take out the rest of the old wired camera system. 5. Set up the Cell phone viewing system and show me how to work with it. Mr. [redacted] said it would take about two days to get the replacement camera and he would return during week. This was July [redacted]. My mistake was paying him 90% of the money.15 Texts later, 15 calls later, a few emails later...no answer, no pick up. Its now August [redacted]. No [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like $750 of the $2500 that I paid to [redacted], Hawk Defense Services.
