in respose to the complaint submitted, after the purchase of the vehicle the customer brought the vehicle to our service deptartment complaining of an oil leak from the oil pan gasket we followed a bulletin dodge had posted as a repair to the situation over the internet, which was to drop the oil pan and reseal the pan when the job was finished the leak was repaired and there was no more leak I would gladly discuss the option of repurchasing the vehicle from the customer

I am rejecting this response because:I have attempted several times to contact the dealership owner to discuss the terms of taking the truck backBeing that the owner does not want to get in touch with me I am assuming that he does not want to take the truck backTherefore, I must result in lawsuit for the repairs of the truck that I must take care of because they refuse to repair the truck; which they are legally required to do

Response:After the oil pan repair, we had the truck running on the lift for an hour and a half, with no leaksWe're talking about seepage on a vehicle in excess of 100k milesThe idea of resealing this engine is ridiculousSaving a back & forth, he said-she said, again we're offering to take the truck back if Mr *** is not satisfied

I am rejecting this response because: they provide a false resp9nse. I did not go to them with a leaking oil pan. I went to them with a complaint of an oil leak. I was then told by their service manager it appeared to be coming from the oil pan as per their technician. After the repair was made an oil leak still persisted. After their refusal to identify the correct location of the leak, I took upon myself to bring it to a dodge dealership to identify the leak. After the leak being identified correctly, I contacted the dealership with the issue since the issue fell under their warranty coverage. They refuse to make the repair for reasons which are not just to deny the repair. I am seeking either full recpmpensation for the price of the vehicle plus expenses lost in this ordeal, or the proper repair of my vehicle by a cummins certified shop. The dealership never discussed repurchasing my vehicle and actually denied when I made the suggestion.

In response to [redacted]s complaint.  She came to us interested in a Nissan Altima to buy but with her credit she was unable to get a loan on her own.  She called her mother who agreed to co-sign on the loan for her.  [redacted] explained to [redacted] that her mom was going to be...

the maker on the loan and [redacted] was going to be the co-signer.  That was the only way the bank would approve financing for her and her mom.  It was going to be registered and insured in [redacted]’s name, but her mom had to go first on the loan.  After conversation with her mom and giving us personal information to run her credit, we got the deal approved. [redacted] wanted to take the car with her, bring all the paperwork to her mom and have it all signed.  A temporary registration was issued.  The vehicle was added to her insurance policy and she gave us the $1500.00 which was used as down payment on the loan purchase.  The next day she came back with all the paperwork, along with the car and told us her mother would not sign on the loan for her.  [redacted] had to do a loan on her own and did not qualify for a loan on this vehicle without her mom.  Our buyers order clearly states that money down and deposits are non-refundable.  We explained to [redacted] that her money down was non-refundable and that we would have to go thru a different source of financing because of her credit situation.  We mutually found a vehicle of her liking and that a bank would finance for her.  All agreed upon, she took delivery of a 2003 Lincoln Navigator, that she absolutely fell in love with.  Two weeks after the purchase and people filling her head with negative information about her purchase, she tried to return the vehicle with many different reasonsIncluding some other signature on the car fax.  She was given a copy of the Carfax and was aware of all information on the car fax.  She came in with some mechanical issues that we addressed and corrected immediately that was not a covered items under the NJ used car warranty, but we extended courtesy and did the repairs at no charge to her.  Any further questions please feel free to get in touch with me @ [redacted] oe email [redacted]
