A local put in the ICP unit As everybody else in this complaint column says, the unit has not worked as it should since it was installed (May 2013) The installer has only made my life worse by insisting there was a Freon leak in my attic unit but rather than him install the new compatible unit in the attic, he just kept on shoving Freon into it I was so angry last time the installer and I spoke, he told me to have someone else take care of the problem I have with this new unit That's a joke, ICP alters their units to skirt around the law banning Freon There are NO attic compatible units out there for the ICP unit he gouged me on $600-unit he sold me for $2500.00, isn't worth the plastic base he put it on, blocking my crawl space If anybody out there needs a new heat pump, first read the manufacturer's label to make sure it isn't an ICP Save yourself the troubles, the Revdex.com doesn't even accredit this place or products it sells

A [redacted] (ICP) furnace and AC installed during the Fall of has defective partsLabor is not covered but required fix the systemDuring Fall 2016, a contractor installed ah [redacted] Furnace (model G9MXE0801716A) and AC (models END4X37T17A and NXA630GKA) in my homeI registered and extended the warranty with ICPI have had nothing but problems since the units were installedFirst, it took two separate service technicians nearly a year to calibrate the system so that it operate at the manufacture specified efficaciesThen, during the second year, the system started shutting down intermittently and emitting the LED error codeOver about a year, the issues progress such that the system would not operate with the top panel installedWhen I had a service, technician diagnosed the system, I was informed the inducer motor and pressure switches (x2) had failedThe system is only years oldWhile ICP will provide the replacement part at no cost, they DO NOT cover the cost of the service calls (one to diagnose, one to install the parts several days later) nor the labor to replace the DEFECTIVE PARTSThe installing contractor refuses to repair the system so I am left with a cost of over $to return the system to operationI called ICP and got brushed offThe only response received from ICP, "we do not cover labor, your warranty is for parts only" I am extremely disgusted and frustrated with ICPHVAC systems should not be as problematic as the one I purchasedI DO NOT RECOMMEND that you purchase any International Comfort Products (ICP) product due to the use of low-quality parts and the organizations refusal to cover the cost of labor to replace defective partsDo your research and STAY AWAY from ICP and their associated products (***, etc.)
