Hawthorne Inn & Conference Center

I booked a room with Days Inn, *** in Louisville, KY, for the night of July 20th, for a total of *** after taxes and feesWhen I arrived to the hotel, I was charged *** with no explanation as to why the rate had changed since making the reservationUpon entering room ***, the floor and bedding were visibility dirtyThere was popcorn tucked into the bedThe bathroom door was broken in multiple spotsThe bottom of the bathtub was black and the exhaust vent was covered in debrisMy 1yr olds knees and feet became instantly black from dirt when he crawled across the floorAt midnight, after putting my children to sleep, I found a live cockroach crawling on my pillowI took the pillow with the bug to the front desk and was told I would have to wake my children and leave if I wanted a refund, which was not a logical option for me

I stayed in the Days Inn on July through the 15, The next day when I got up I had bug bites on my side I reported it to the office the next morning and the manager just ignored it he said it was my imagination that the hotel doesn't have any bugsI also asked to be moved to a new room and he told me they were full and had no roomsI then requested a refund and he said they don't give refunds
