This was a very smooth, professional move The crew arrived right on time, reviewed exactly what was being moved and where, and started to work They were fast and efficient, but careful with my furniture, and even took an adjustable bed apart and put it back together for me at the new house I really appreciated their good attitudes too - even with degree heat and moving heavy furniture upstairs, they never lost their smiles I liked that they stayed in contact with me in the days before the move, confirming the date and time as well as the items being moved in case I needed to add anything The estimate was also spot-on, and the move was completely hassle-free These guys are awesome at what they do and I recommend them for any moving job!
Despite selling insurance on my move and numerous requests on my part (June 4, 22, and July and 13), Tim *** of Moving by Design has failed to provide me with a copy of the policy or certificate of insurance, and has failed to compensate me for damages He has acknowledged the damages but refused to process a claim through his insurance because "we have a large deductible so this will not be handled by the insurance company." Since reporting the damages to Tim ***, we have found additional pieces with damage that appear to have been concealed by the moving crew I have not amended my claim for these additional damages
As an aside, according to the Revdex.com website, Moving by Design has been in business for years; yet Tim *** represented to my husband and me that he had been in business for years
