This entire statement is incorrect The original repair did get the system cooling that is why the tech thought it was workingOn the second visit the tech found additional repairs that were neededThe additional repairs were not instead of the original repairs they were additionalNot one penny spent was on unnecessary repairs The technician never stated he would give the money backIt was always credit toward the additional workYou would not know this because you were not at the home when we went out the second timeIn fact, we could not reach at all to have you authorize the workYou did not respond to us until the following MondayAt which time your statement was: I don’t have any money and I want my money backWe made several attempts to contact you to resolve the issue right away, You never answered and never returned our callsInstead you contested your credit card and resorted to Revdex.comlackmailWe value all our customers even when they don’t value us

I would like to add a few facts to this storyOur AC tech arrived, and the system was not cooling and had a low temperature differential and had a low reading on the refrigerant levelFor $he cleaned the coil to improve the airflow and add lbsof R-refrigerant (now illegal to manufacture
in the US and very expensive, this guy ought to complain on the original AC company that sold him this system years ago) After the tech performed this work the temp diff was degrees(manufacturer specs are to degrees) In other words the system was running, and the tech did not observe any other issues.) The customer then called back and said the system was not cooling againThe tech returned the same day and was able to observe that the refrigerant level was fluctuatingWe then determined that the complete repair is as follows: Evacuate contaminated refrigerant, flush all contaminants out of system, replace refrigerant metering device, reinstall brand new Rrefrigerant (now illegal and very expensive) For a total of$To be the good guys, we offered the customer to use the $as a down payment towards the complete repair for a balance of $So, we were taking a loss on the first service callWe are being a good company by using the money he gave as a down payment for the work needed to give him everything he needsHe has not paid for something he did not receiveHe just needs more work performedWe never offered to refund his moneyWe contacted him several times for approval on this work, but he never responded until days after we looked at his systemI have been involved with this issue early on and we have been in conversation with him this entire timeHe has never been ignoredIn fact, I have left several messages for him to call me that have not been returnedThe only statement he has made to us is that he doesn’t have enough money and he wants his money backThe first repairs are not refundable I am not sure how other companies operate but we do not seek out to sell repairs to people that are not neededWe wait until we have evidence before we offer to make repairsThe actions taken during the first service call were not incorrect they were necessary to make the system provide the evidence we need to make a complete diagnosis of the systemI am sure this person would have complained if we had immediately offered to make a $repair and not had a complete diagnosis to support the decisionWould you complain about a doctor that sent you to have a cat scan for a pain in your side? Only to find that there was nothing and it might be a pulled muscle? We may not be doctors, but we do perform empirical investigations of facts regarding your AC system to uncover evidence that will allow us to make a correct repairYou must pay for those actions that uncover evidence and determine the correct repair
