Dear *** ***,Re: complaint ID***I am requesting the complaint against me to be removed for the following reasons.*** *** has issued the complaint against Hayes Fencing The job was done under a contract with *** *** ***, my brother's company which I work for See attached signed contract The material that he refers to as being stolen from his property was placed where he told us to put it He said it would be fine there and that he would be home and so would his renter so they could keep an eye on it The material was approx$ I wanted to call the cops to file a report on it and he insisted that we don't Also, he paid for the job as we went along in phases with no problem Never said anything about him not being happy with it In fact, he said it was great As far as being overpriced He was given an estimate and he signed off on it to approve the work He had the option to use another company.He wanted an electric gate with a solar panelThe solar panel needed to be put in a specific spot to catch the sun throughout the year He insisted it be put in a certain spot Therefore it does not get enough sun, especially on cloudy days and a lot of usage, it drains the battery.He called me one weekend when I was out of town because the gate wasn't working Once I got back I went over there and called him times while I sat in his driveway Each call was about minutes apart On my third call I said on his recorder that I was going to enter his property to check out the operator I took off the cover of the operator and started testing the battery and the battery was good He then came out of his house and yelled at me for being there, even though he had called me to come look it He asked me what I was doing there I said you called me to come look at your gate because it was not working He told me that I was not aloud on his property until he gave me the okay to come on to it I had said I was out of town and you called me to look at your gate Then I said that I was not going to charge him for looking at it He then said that he bought another battery and his mood changed He wasn't as angry I told him that it was a brand new battery and we could have exchanged it for another one instead of him buying a new one. About a year or more later, *** called me again and he said the gate was having problems I was on a job and I told him I would get back with him as soon as I could When I was available I called him back several times and he never returned my phone call I was not about to go onto his property again without his consent Since he didn't get back to me, I figured the problem was solved I have not heard from him since.I have a one year warranty on all of my work and always honor it, and sometimes beyond that This job was done back in May of 2013. Review: Using another company's business name. Allowed 1000s of dollars of materials to get stolen by placing it near a busy road over the weekend. Sloppy work ,overpriced ,poor design broke down after a year. Unwilling to make repairs.Desired Settlement: Would like to make sure they are using a true legal fictitious name. And to warn others of poor overpriced workmanship. job cost 22,000.
