I am rejecting this response because:Because It is Not TrueMichael did come out and bid the job. He did not cover the topic of the cables. He did not inspect the job at all during or after the job was complete. The only time Michael set foot on my property after he came out to bid the job was to pick up the check for the balance. In his email he mentioned installing an additional piece of flashing and picking up the check. He only picked up the check. I emailed him to ask about that flashing he mentioned -- but he never replied. Previous to the roofing job, my skylights were securely attached and properly installed. When the roofing job was supposedly done, the skylights were sitting up on untrimmed flashing and no fasteners in sight. His workers just plain forgot to finish the skylights and Michael never inspected the job. I cannot address the point on insulation -- but I do know that skylights need to be re-flashed -- which is why they set up on the untrimmed flashing -- the job had not been completed -- it was not inspected -- and that is why my bathrooms and hall were very cold and drafty. Michael's story sounds good -- the problem is it is not the truth. I do not want his payment for the satellite cables to be hung. I just want him to admit to the truth -- not lie.

We at H[redacted] Roofing strive to give to very best product to our customers. I personally bid this project and did all follow up inspections etc. during the job we found that your roof needed less venting than was quoted. Upon completion of this job, I inspected the roof and found that it was done...

properly. I did however overlook missing screws at skylights. When I received your call about skylights I went to inspect them and found they were not securely fastened and had never had weather stripping installed. It is our policy to charge the customer for any added weather stripping to used skylights, however I decided to care of that at no charge. As far as cable tv antennas or dishes, we inform all of our customers that any cables or satellite dishes that interfere with the roof will be removed and it will be the customers responsibility to re-install and or point dishes, usually by calling the cable provider. With that said, I cant' be certain that I explained that to you or not, prior to the job. I believe I did.Since I cant be certain that I explained this prior to the work and also the fact that I want you to be happy with your experience with H[redacted] Roofing, I am willing to pay for your cable re-installation.I apologize for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Michael H[redacted]
