Hayfield Dental Care

Review: I have been going to Hayfield Dental Care for over 20 years now, as has my entire family. I moved for a couple of years and relocated back to the area and resumed service, and those gap in years really proved to be a huge difference. The front office manager, [redacted], was very rude, impolite, inflexible, and unprofessional. I am so disappointed by this, as I know she has been with the company a very long time and used to be very accommodating. I have a very busy schedule, with an 8 month old baby and 2 jobs in addition to full time school, so it's difficult for me to find time for appointments. The last few times I've called to schedule an appointment, I was told by [redacted] that the only available ones were 9am, unless I want appointments months away, which is not ideal since my schedule varies day-to-day and most of the dental work I have needed is fairly urgent and can't wait months. When scheduling the appointments, I made it clear that I would take the 9am, but that my schedule is so inconsistent that I may have to reschedule in the future, and I was always assured that this was fine, I could call and cancel, or that if I did miss it, I would have to pay the $35 missed appointment fee, but I could always reschedule. This last time I had an appointment, I called and was forced to reschedule due an unforeseeable meeting with doctor due to my child's illness. I tried to explain this to her and just have her reschedule, and she gave me unnecessary attitude and was not the least bit sympathetic or understanding. This is completely appalling, especially since I've been such a long time, loyal consumer of their services. I have always been patient with their frequent mistakes in billing, inflexible scheduling, and long appointment times due to over-scheduling patients. I have sent them numerous recommendations despite all of these issues, but I don't think I will ever recommend them ever again, nor will my family be seeing any doctors there. This is a shame since many of the doctors and staff there are completely accommodating and pleasant (especially [redacted]). It's [redacted]' attitude that is ruining their business. When I hung up the phone in tears, my fiance called and spoke to her, and she said that I could no longer reschedule there since I had missed 4 appointments, although I explained to her I had only missed the one day since then, as I had JUST been there April 22nd for my dental cleaning and this was my next scheduled appointment. She has scheduled me mistakenly before with my twin sister, and vice versa, creating confusion in the office, and I don't feel that I should be held accountable for this, nor given attitude by her. The way I was treated was completely unprofessional, offensive, and unwarranted, and I'm deeply disappointed in the way Hayfield Dental Care has turned out over the years.Desired Settlement: At the very least, I think I deserve an apology from the business, as I'm sure [redacted] will be unwilling to cooperate.
