I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Review: I retained services for bankruptcy with [redacted] on 09/23/2008. The cost was $900 for him and $299 for chapter 7 filing fees, for a total of $1,206 (a $7 increase in court fees was applied on 11/01/2011). I paid the balance off as of 03/08/2012. I have tried to reach Mr. [redacted] several times via phone and email with no success other than on 09/06/2013 @ 12:02 pm. He took my name and phone number and stated that he will "track down my file and call me Monday. If you don't hear from me by Monday, call me back on Tuesday". As of 09/09/2013 I had not received anything back from Mr. [redacted]. On 09/13/2013 I called again @ 8:19 am. There was no answer so I left a message on his machine. Upon a search via internet on 01/21/2015, I discovered that Mr. [redacted] has new contact information and that I was not notified of his change of address or phone number. My phone number has never changed throughout the duration of my contract with Mr. [redacted].After almost 3 years of having paid in full for bankruptcy services, (6 and a half years since the start of my case), I have no filing date, no case number, no fees have been paid to a court and I have received no response from my attorney.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $1,206 that has already been paid to Mr. [redacted].
