1/17/There was a late penalty that incurred on 1/11/in the amount of $With the payment of $98.06, this left Mrs*** with a balance forward of $The new bill was $which leaves a total balance of $We received a returned payment of $on 1/27/with a return fee of $35.00, this brings the total balance on the account $We sent a door hanger out on 1/30/for the returned payment (the door hanger was written in pen, not green sharpie as stated in the complaint)On 1/31/a door hanger was automatically generated for the past due balance on the account (before the payment of $was returned) and was hung that dayThat door hanger fee of $was added to the account as a result of the past due payment that was not paid by 1/30/(which is stated in the delinquent bill and letter that Mrs*** received)We did waive the door hanger fee as a curtesy to Mrs***This door hanger fee was in fact generated correctlyBoth door hangers along with the letter and bill showed payment needs to be in office no later than 2/1/The payment was not in our office by 2/1/so the services were terminated on 2/2/(as stated on all notices)Due to the serviced being terminated there was a $cut off fee and a $additional deposit owed which brings a total balance due of $to be restoredOn 2/6/we went back out to verify everyone that should be off is still offAt that time, we found the services to be back onThere was an additional $fee applied since we had to turn the services back off and lock the meter which left a balance at that time of $to be restored. Mrs*** has been billed times, penalized times, cut off times and she has returned payment on the account.We are only the utility company that provides services to the district of *** ***We are required by *** *** to enforce the rules and regulation that is set in the rate order they have provided us
