This collection agency froze my joint bank account for double what I owed without warning, (I got a letter in the mail about it 3 days after it had been frozen) they explained to me that the only way I could get my account unfrozen was to wire money to them to pay the debt in full, which I paid immediately. It has been 7 days since I paid them and they still have not released the hold on my bank account.
If Ms. would like to discuss the account she may contact Hayt, Hayt & Landau, PL at 877-474-0834 and speak to an account representative.
1) I have received multiple calls about an account that does not belong to me and they even agree they are two different accountsone from *** and mine in .
2) They even filed Civil Action against me and mailed me a copy of the other persons bill.
3) I am concerned about my privacy as well as that of ***, *** of Temple ***
4) I am disturbed about incorrect information sent to my credit reporting agency(ies).
Correction to a credit report 1) I would like apologies sent to Mr. as well as myself. 2) I would like my credit report corrected as this has already prevented me from obtaining a 0% credit card.

On or about January 30, 2018, our office received a letter from Ms. that stated she was the incorrect party associated with a *** Bank *** account. We reviewed the information provided by Ms. and immediately dismissed the lawsuit that was pending before Upson County Magistrate Court. This matter has already been resolved through the *** State Court System.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This was a blatant invasion of privacy for me and the other person involved. This company had called me multiple times and would not accept me telling over the phone that the account they were questioning was not mine and I had no involvement with it. I even called *** on one occasion and *** agent called this company to tell them this was not my account. I was harassed over the phone, subpoenaed in front of my neighbors, and then required to spend unnecessary time going to the court to prove the account documents sent from this agency did not belong to me. I believe as an Attorney's Office, they would not have co-mingled accounts.
