Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/23) */
To whom may concern,
I the owner of hayward auto glass, personally helped this customer myself during the process of printing them a receipt and handing the customer their car we provided service.
having them sign the invoice it clearly states...

under instructions:
Do not wash vehicle or remove blue blue tape for 48 hours. Please inspect the vehicle before leave the premises.
In conclusion not only the customer had a copy of the receipt I also specifically told the customer to not wash their car or take the blue tap off for 48 hours.
The customer states on their complain that the next day instead of reading instructions on their receipt which they signed that states clearly not to wash their car or remove blue tap for 48hours. Also I explained to them this verbally.
the customer came back the next day within 24hours and said that there is a gap on their window and said they poured water on the windshield to see if it leaks.
I told the customer that since they pour water to check for leaks without following instructions. It will take 2 hours to fix this problem and our installer provided service and labor free of charge. We performed second time service for a problem with the customer pouring water within 24 hours and not following instructions on the invoice and verbally I told the same thing about the blue tap and not washing the car for two days.
Then the customer leaves the shop say thank you and we told the customer if have any leaks to please come back and we will fix it.
the customer files a complaint which clearly shows that they remember not to remove the blue tap for 48 hours but as far as washing the car they dont remember or recall what was told to them about not washing the car and reading their receipt before signing and after signing.
I have contacted both two phone numbers numerous times different days to reach them and their number is XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX both the customer [redacted] and her mother.
We want to resolve this by having the customer getting their windshield fixed for any leaks that they are saying it has.
unfortunately our customer is not contacting us back neither picking up our call.
we hope the customer brings their car to us so we can diagnose any leaks any any problem or questions they may have.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In contrary to what the owner claims, the first time my car was brought it, no verbal instruction was told about NOT washing the car. I did read that on the receipt, however. With that said, considering the gap between the windshield and the car, there is not doubt that a leakage will occur. Waiting for 48 hours, or not, will result in the same conclusion- a leak, which did occur.
On our second try, they tried adjusting the windshield. Yes, of course, it is free of charge, as it should be. Why would we pay for a job that was not executed correctly the first time?
After the adjustment, we were reassured that no leaks will occur this time. We thoroughly inspected the windshield and of course, their were cracks and the moldings were loose as they were not fully intact. We were reassured that no leaks will occur this time which there was.
I do not want anything from this business, but for them to provide a better business practice and to provide a better customer service to their future clients. The way they had taken responsibility to their poor job was unacceptable.
