Thank you for forwarding this complaint to Hayward.  They responded and shipped a brand new pool pump to replace the defective one and it's been installed and is now working properly.  Thank you for all of your assistance with this matter - the...

inaction on their part was frustrating. You can close this complaint as the matter was resolved satisfactorily.

Review: My heater began to leak in September and When I called in the [redacted] on September they told me I had to go through Haywood company and they didn't handle this matter. But their magazine advertises under warranty for one year. when I called they told me I had to contact Haywood so I did and I have sent 12 emails and have taken dozen of pictures of the heaterand it is now October 21 and I have no results. I callked again to today and the finally gave me a cr #[redacted] and they want me to email them the pictures that I took for haywood and they may be able to help me but no guarantee that they would be able to help me. But the advertise one year warranty that they are not honoring.Desired Settlement: I would like this heater replaced either with this model or a better model because I have been put under great distress with dealing with this matter. I have mad several calls emails pictures, I have done everything but ship the heater back I am willing to do that. I was mislead If I would have know that they would not cover the warranty, I would have never ed order from the them. They have not honored their advertising nor when I called I was told oh you are on your owned.

Review: I had a Max-Flo VS Model SP2302 VSP pump quit working on my pool in April less than 3 weeks after installation by a certified professional. When I called Hayward they directed me to [redacted] in [redacted]. After 2 weeks of no-shows [redacted] showed up to work on my pump on April 25th.

They replaced the pump with a pump that said Model 2300 (a discontinued model). When I asked the owner about it he said that Hayward sends the pump to him like that complete and he has no options. I let him know I would take it up with Hayward.

When I called Hayward service at [redacted] I was told by the tech the opposite is true and they send only the part of the pump that would need to be repaired, but because my pump has a timer it is the 2302 and didn't know what I wanted him to do. I told him I want the pump exactly as what was warrantied and he told me to call [redacted] I told him they told me to call Hayward and he said he would have a manager look into it.

When he called me back he said the pump is a 2302 even though the tag says 2300. He said that is just a tag they put on it and guaranteed me it is a 2302. At this point I have no confidence that I received anything but a reconditioned pump.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund for the retail cost so I may purchase a pump from a more reputable company.
