"Client ordered a Greek key style ribbon trim roman shade on 12/4/The item shipped on 2/3/via USPS priority mail and was received on 2/5/Product was shipped promptly upon completion At Window Treatments by Melissa we use a product called Dritz Disappearing Ink PenDetails about the product can be viewed on the Dritz website here [redacted] This product is used to draw the Greek key shape onto the fabric and then the ribbon is sewn where the pattern was drawnDritz claims the marker disappears in 2-days, but in our experience with the product (years) this has not proved to be true on items with a canvas baseIt takes 7-days to disappear from canvasBut it does, in fact, disappearClient was notified of this and was told that if she didn't want to wait the ten days that the marker does go away immediately if a damp cloth of fresh water is lightly dabbed on the productClient informed WTbM she was not interested in waiting and advised WTbM to take corrective action to satisfy her unhappiness with having to wait for the product to disappearClient was notified by WTbM that refunds cannot be offered on items that are not defectiveClient then threatened to send the item back in exchange for a refundClient was informed that sending back a non defective item would not result in a refundThus, the item was refused upon receipt WTbM has made thousands of window treatments using the Dritz productIt is used not only on the Greek key style, but also marks where the hem is sewn on all the window treatments we produceThe ink has always disappearedWe have been using the same canvas and ribbon that made client's shade for three and a half yearsWTbM has never had a complaint about the ink not disappearing." The no returns and no refunds is in our policies section on our websiteThe item was initially refused because the proposed resolution was a refundIf you send it back for corrections it will be acceptedPlease send the item back and I will gladly remove any remaining ink stains from the product upon receipt and return it promptlyBut we will not offer a refund on a non defective itemI understand you feel the item is defective and I am willing to correct the defect and send it back to you as a whole complete product without the ink defectI can fix this problem upon arrival and have it back to you promptly
