Review: [redacted] Haywood remodeled my home before I bought it and offered a one year warranty that was transferred to me when I bought the home. A couple months after closing, I noticed an issue with the sewer line in the basement and the dry wall. The dehumidifier that [redacted] Haywood installed in my basement drains directly into the sewer line. When the line got backed up a few months after I moved into the house, sewer water started spewing out of the dehumidifier. The plumber who did work on the house before I bought came out and said that he did not install the dehumidifier and that it's a health risk to have it drain into the sewer line. Also, there were soft spots of dry wall in the kitchen and black mold appeared in the corner of that room a few months after I moved in. It turned out there is a gap between the wall of my row home and that of the neighboring row home. Black mold is a serious health concern and I now need to hire a professional to take care of this problem.

Also, [redacted] Haywood hired a roofing contractor that offered a 10 year warranty on the roof of the home I bought. At the moment we are only two years into the warranty and I have dry wall damage from water leaking through my roof on the second and third floors. The 3 roofers that I've had come out and look at the problems have all said the roofing work previously done was shoddy, and they can see it from the ground looking up at the exterior. The tar wasn't properly applied to the roof, there's no caulking at all around the windows, and this is letting water leak in behind the stucco on the home's exterior and causing it to crack.Desired Settlement: I request a phone call from [redacted] Haywood to help me get in touch with the roofer [redacted], who is not returning my calls.
