Haz Rental Center of Garden Grove

Response in regards to ID#***We are very sorry that a customer was unhappy over as he said a “miscommunication”The customer, *** E., did rent a trailer from us on 7/2/and was to return it by 7/3/Please note that while we rent much of our own equipment, the trailers that we rent
are not ours, they are owned by UHaulWe are considered a subcontractor of theirs and have to follow the rules that they enforce*** called to inform us that he would not be able to have it in on 7/before we closeHe was told that he could bring it in “in the next morning” (July 4*)*** himself stated that the instructions were “bring it in in the morning"It was the 4” of July so we did close early, we closed at noonHowever, if it had not been a holiday and we were open our regular hours, anytime after would not qualify as “morning” and U-Haul would automatically charge for any extra dayThe trailer was returned on July 5*Technically, by the time it was returned, the charge was for a day rentalWe did all we could within our parameters with UHaul to lower the charges to daysWe even called our District Manager regarding the situation and he confirmed that was all they would approve us to do.We are very sorry if the customer felt that our employee didn't handle this properlyWe would like to think it was not to the extreme that he is statingOur employees should always reflect proper customer serviceAgain we apologize that this occurredWe hope that *** can consider again all the information at handWe, of course, never want to lose customers
