This is interesting First off, there was never any intent to deceive We changed a method of install from nails to construction adhesive and screwsSimple as that. We chose to settle this because we were, according to this customer, at fault because they provided the wrong tile
for the walls and floor So no matter what we did, we were wrong Suffice it to say We settled and moved on

I am rejecting this response because:We stated in our complaint that the wall tile was wrong and acknowledged it was our error to not check the boxes prior to installationThere was nothing wrong with the floor tile except for the? poor workmanship of the installation - as we stated there were tiles improperly installed, voids in the grout, and a failure to remove the grout film or to seal itAs I also pointed out, the poor workmanship on the shower curb ? and pan and ? shower floor installation would have resulted in leakageThere is no doubt about thatif I can move a shower curb by pushing it, it's not properly installedI have plenty of photos showing the inadequate construction methodsWe had to pay someone else to do the job the right way.I am not surprised that the contractor sees no problem with the quality of his workHis response confirms that he doesn't know how to build a shower curb and pan properly

I am rejecting this response because:We stated in our complaint that the wall tile was wrong and acknowledged it was our error to not check the boxes prior to installation. There was nothing wrong with the floor tile except for the poor workmanship of the installation - as we stated there were tiles improperly installed, voids in the grout, and a failure to remove the grout film or to seal it. As I also pointed out, the poor workmanship on the shower curb  and pan and  shower floor installation would have resulted in leakage. There is no doubt about that. if I can move a shower curb by pushing it, it's not properly installed. I have plenty of photos showing the inadequate construction methods. We had to pay someone else to do the job the right way.I am not surprised that the contractor sees no problem with the quality of his work. His response confirms that he doesn't know how to build a shower curb and pan properly.
