I am rejecting this response because:
As listed in the attached file, they only quoted $4,for finishing the entire 44xfoundation (We expanded the foundation by 25%, so the entire cost should be no more than $5, so far only the footings are improperly formed, so only half of the work is been done So our estimate of $3,is more than adequate), $1,for the architecture drawing, which we never received during the course of the contract period (when we visited the town official, we were told that the drawings they provided were not sufficient for getting a building permit), $for the survey, which was not completed There was no mentioning of any "back office" work anywhere in the contract They wanted to charge us now $7,for the incomplete foundation work, and over $5,for the drawing and survey, which is inconsistent with their quotesBecause of their lack of experience, mis-management of the project and not willing to taking responsibility, we now have to almost redo everything they did in order to move on with the project We have now already paid for a new set of professional architecture drawing that was needed to get us the building permit and new surveyor work as well Because they delayed getting us our proper refund, the footings they formed now have to be redone as well
Our lawyer is putting out demands together and will contact them shortly, so please keep this complaint open until further notice

Complaint Information: HI ***, We received several complaints from *** ***, one stating that they rejected the refund check for $5,just because they think that the work done is only $3000, but they are not taking in consideration all of the back office work that had to be done in order to get permits and started the jobthe second complaint, is regarding a letter that they just received from a person that worked in the property, as a supposedly Sub-contractorWe are surprised they received that letter, I will handle that problem myself with that personWe never hire them as our sub-contractor, we did use their services and paid them for their servicesI will be filing a complaint on them, and pressing charges for threatening, our former clientThey can't issue a lien on their property as there is no record of them working for us as sub-contractorMy contract with the *** family protects them from this issues, we are the only ones that in any case had the authority to file a lien on their propertyBut that is not the caseWe just want them to understand that we did our work, and that we as well let our lawyer aware of the situationBut I won't allow, someone come and try to get their property jeopardize, it's not how we do businessI have contacted the person and let them know I will be pressing charges on them for what they didI do want them to send me a copy of such letter so I can officially protect them from what they would like to doWhich they can be assure they won't get a lien on their propertyBest regards, *** *** *** at HBA Home Improvement LLC
