Ohio Educational Credit Union response to complaint#***. The interest rate for specific applicants is based on their credit experience and the loan product requested. The final interest rate for a loan application is assigned when the loan is underwritten. In reviewing this
specific situation, while the final quoted rate is consistent with the established underwriting guidelines, it appears the communication, through the application process, between the Credit Union representative and applicant was not clear. The Credit Union will address this issue to prevent future occurrences

This is the Ohio Educational Credit Union's response to a formal complaint #[redacted] which we received on January 30, 2018.  Upon researching the complaint we discovered a system processing error that caused the problem in question.  We reached out to our member via telephone as she...

requested in her complaint to us and apologized for the mistake.  We have taken the appropriate steps to fix the problem with the system to prevent future occurrences.
