Bought a [redacted] deal with them for a power wash of my house and booked it weeks in advance. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this "deal." As others have posted, they cancelled my appointment a few hours before they were supposed to show up claiming they were behind because of rain for the past few weeks. Excuse me??!! The sun is shining outside right now. This is no way to run a business!!! I understand that you may have rain delays and rescheduling, but you reschedule the people who actually HAD rain on their date and not the people who had sunshine on existing appointments. It makes no sense to reschedule everyone and bump all of your existing customers on that date. It sounds like their pat excuse from other reviews I have read. Now I have no knowledge of how good or bad they are with detailing cars. But if you are thinking of using them for a home power wash, be warned! Thank goodness [redacted] helped me get my money back. HBG is not even returning my messages. I would give HBG negative stars in my review if that was an option. Not taking another day off from work for them. I'll take my business elsewhere since they obviously have trouble honoring their scheduled appointments and make lame excuses.

Review: In December 2012 I purchased a coupon from [redacted] for detailing services. I have scheduled appointments several times with the company. At first they would call to tell a reason why they were missing the appointment. That it rained, that the van broke down, etc... Now, they simply do not show up. The company already was paid by [redacted] $69. They should do the right thing and return the money if they cannot or would not fullfil theur obligations. Their standard answer is to ask ** for a refund. That is not acceptable because ** already paid them for the service.Desired Settlement: a refund of $69 so I can obtain the service somewhere else.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

After several miss appointments [redacted] agreed to a credit good faith. They did not REFUND the payment. I am still out $69. They expressly stated several times that HBG was paid already and If I wanted a refund I have to either still get services for $69 or HBG would have to REFUND the payment. HGB is manage by a con man that swindle ** for $69. The Revdex.com should be aware of HGB deceiving practices and should be take corrective action immediate.

Spoke to the business he states that the information he provided earlier shows that in fact the customer was refunded. There is no credit to be used, the customer made an appointment and then contacted [redacted] to get a refund. The snap shot the business provided is the merchant page he has from [redacted] that shows the customer was refunded. Since the customer was refunded the service cannot be done. If the customer did not get the refund [redacted] shows, he needs to contact [redacted] and not the business, because the customer pays [redacted] first and then the business makes money.

Review: We had a Mobile Auto Detailing done on 7/30/13. The vehicle was very clean but upon examination of the driveway after moving the vehicle later in the day, we noticed what appears to be stains and streaks where the vehicle was sitting during the cleaning as well as running down the driveway. Thinking it may just rinse off I tried hosing down the driveway and it has rained twice since it was done but the stains/streaks remain. I contacted the company and they said it what they used to detail the vehicle and that I COULD BUY A DE-GREASER AND CLEAN MY DRIVEWAY MYSELF.I do not feel that was an appropriate response. I do not feel that I should have to purchase anything and have to clean my driveway. I feel that they need to return and repair the mess left on my driveway.Desired Settlement: I feel that they need to return and repair the mess left on my driveway.

We have provided service to [redacted] on previous occasions. The driveway is an asphalt driveway and [redacted] was present when we finished detailing his vehicle.

Review: I ordered a power wash for my house through [redacted] on May 12, 2013 and scheduled my service for June 19, 2013. The day of the scheduled service, they left a message indicating they would not be able to perform the service that day due to the rain we had been having and would have to push the schedule back. They said they would give me a call "in a few days" to let me know the exact reschedule date. I waited at least a week and then called them. Got the same story and they said they would call back in a few weeks to reschedule. I never heard back. So 3 to 4 weeks later, called again and got the same story. It's now September 23, 2013 and the service has still not been performed.Desired Settlement: Would like them to provide the service ASAP and compensate me for wasting my time with all of this follow up. Or give me my money back ASAP so I can hire someone that will actually do the work in a timely fashion.

During the summer months, we experienced at least 30 unworkable days due to the rain; thus, we had to reschedule several appointments. The customer purchased the voucher directly from [redacted] and the voucher expires on November 21, 2013. Any refunds will be up to [redacted]. Appointments are based upon availability which is noted on the voucher. We will still honor the voucher if the customer contacts us to schedule the appointment prior to the due date.

Review: HBG's Mobile Detailing Service advertised on [redacted] for power washing service. After purchasing I contacted business to schedule an appointment and was told first available date was 45 days. I cooperated and booked date. Company failed to communicate as date of appointment approached. I contacted merchant morning of appointment and was told they would show on schedule.They never showed and failed to give any explanation. They took the money and never provided the service.Desired Settlement: Refund and $25 gas money for travel time

In Response to the complaint:

We as a company have six months to honor [redacted] Vouchers. The appointments are based on availability. We are a mobile detailing company in which we travel to the customers. The customer was given an appointment of June 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Our procedures include calling the customer a half hour prior to the scheduled appointment time. On Saturday, the van that was scheduled to power wash the customer's home had an equipment malfunction during the appointment prior to this customer. The van representative and the manager called this customer on the phone number that he provided as the contact number prior to 1:00 pm. No one answered and so a message was left to inform the customer of the situation. Another attempt was made before the end of the work day on Saturday and another message was left. The office called again on Monday morning, June 17th, to contact the customer. Still no answer, and another message was left. As of this response to the complaint, we have not heard back from the customer.

The customer purchase his discounted voucher byway of [redacted] and then contacted us for the appointment. No monies are given to us directly from [redacted] customers because we are contracted by [redacted] to actually provide the service.

We attempted to contact the customer several times to inform him of what happened and to reschedule his appointment. However, as you can see, he made his complaint at 2:48 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2013 and his appointment was at 1:00 pm on Saturday.

Review: On 12/17/12 I purchased a voucher (in the amount of $69) from [redacted] for a full auto detail from HBG Auto Detail. When I called HBG in June 2013 to schedule my appointment, I was told they would not be able to schedule my appointment until August. I noted that this would be after the expiration date, but was told that HBG would honor the voucher in full. On the day of my scheduled appointment, no one showed up or called. When I called HBG, the customer service representative was apologetic and offered to re-schedule. The earliest date she could offer was 9/7/13, so I made the appointment. I called HBG on 9/5 and left a message to confirm my appointment. My call was not returned, and on the day of my appointment, again, no one showed up or called. I contacted [redacted] to register my complaint and was told I would need to address the issue with HBG. So, I emailed a complaint to HBG on 9/9/13 and requested a refund given that the service had not been provided. To date, I have received no response.Desired Settlement: Refund for full amount paid ($69.00) in form of certified check.

We did receive an email; however, she requested a refund in the email and did not leave a contact number. [redacted] would be the company to request the refund since she purchased the voucher from them. However, we will still honor the voucher if she would like to schedule an appointment.
