One month later I am writing this review.

Do NOT do business with this company. Several people have had issues with HcCost, also known as [redacted]. They are the same company. This company takes your money, sets up a delivery date that never gets met. After they have had your money for two weeks, they offer a 10 year extended parts warranty, for your inconvenience. The item still doesn't get delivered, so then they offer a $50.00 credit back to you, but still don't deliver your items. They don't offer a phone number, but with some research I found one. It is ###-###-####. After I called I had to wait 16 minutes on hold just to get to a real person. After I got to the real person she was extremely rude and told me they have to contact the shipper to stop the order, and then they would refund my money in about a week or so. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Review: I purchased a washer and dryer via amazon that the washer was delivered on Dec [redacted]and then the dryer the following Monday. The dryer came damaged and the washer is fine and working with the company itself is been the horrific process and unresponsiveness out of a company I have ever had. First they said they would send someone out to fix the dryer but they didn't tell me when that was I had to contact them multiple times to get updates with days and days at a time of no reply and when I did get a reply is was not the answer that I wanted to see.

So at this point I am fed up with their company and I myself had to setup a repair and work with LG to get my replacement but it's at more of a cost towards me!Desired Settlement: I want them to contact me about this, to work out a deal, I am having to pay more for a new machine at sears and I want them to pay for the difference and the troubles of having to spend money go to wash our clothes else where.

Review: I purchased a refrigerator from this business and was told it would be delivered in to my home. Again a few days after purchase I was contacted by the shipping company to set up delivery when I clarified the terms of the delivery with the woman who called. She explained since it was a large fridge the delivery guys would remove the fridge doors in order to fit a refrigerator of that size through the front door. I ask for clarification once again if they would remove the doors and place them back on after the refrigerator was inside my home. To which she answered yes. So another few days later I get the delivery where the delivery man has set the refrigerator at the bottom of my driveway and is knocking at my door to get a signature. I explain I had spoke with a woman who set up my delivery and she ensured the refrigerator would be brought in to the home. The delivery man immediately was aggravated and said he would not be doing so since it was not in his instructions. I tried to once again explain the situation to which he replied was not his problem. I them asked to speak to his [redacted] to which a phone number was provided. I called the number various times til I finally received an answer. When I finally reached his [redacted] the man was very short and did not allow me to speak. He was very rude and condescending. I then explained that if the refrigerator was not going to be delivered as promised that I did not want it. As a single parent of a three year old there was no way I could possibly move that large of a refrigerator. They then both laughed and said great we will still charge you a delivery fee and an additional charge so good luck getting your money back. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund of the entire charge.

Review: My husband and I ordered a new refrigerator via the [redacted] website from HCcost. The company HCcost called with their shipping services for which we made a verbal agreement that the refrigerator would be delivered between 3PM & 8PM on Friday August **, the Friday of the 2013 Labor Day Weekend. I took a half day off of work which is equivalent to $85 to wait for the delivery along with my husband and I delaying our Labor Day plans from Friday to Saturday due to the delivery. At 7:55 on Friday August ** the shipping service called and said they would not be there until 11PM, which they quickly took back and said that they won't come until Saturday August ** between 8AM & 8:30AM. So not only now have I lost a half day of work, but my husband and I have to delay our Labor Day plans once again now missing both Friday & Saturday. We had paid the company $100 for 'White Glove Service' as they call it to install the refrigerator which turned out to be a complete waste of money since it involved nothing more than the normal service except to plug in the refrigerator and screw on one bolt to the water line. My husband and I both called the company multiple times for which we never got any answer except a voice mail / message. After leaving a message there was no reponse whatsoever, not a call back, no voice mail, not an email, nothing.Desired Settlement: My husband and I are incredibly frustrated with not only the late delivery and missing work and our vacation, but now with having no response from the company or concern on their part to not only respond to our call but to not care about their customer service. We would simply like a refund on the 'White Glove Service' for $100, which also covers the money lost from a half day off from work.

Review: There have been more than one problem with this company , the last of which I would like to provide a copy of the email thread if you would tell me how to do so. I canceled the order, at the time because I had been under the impression that the product, a washing machine would be delivered to the place where it would be used in the cellar when the company first called that I am able to confirm, they wanted to no if the area outside the house was clear to drop of the washer, when I asked if it was to be taken to the place it was to be used they said no. I canceled the order.

The company then billed me for delivery cost "each way". They provided me with proof of shipment and telephone calls. First of all, I have caller id and no calls were received that identify with them, the calls are still on my id for the dates in question and they have not replied to my calls to resolve that issue. As to shipping the documentation they provided states in part "out for pickup Brooklyn NY", then "Received at [redacted] facility [redacted]". The relevant part that I have attempted to no avail to get information on the cost of $99.99 shipping each way and the fact that If [redacted] was to be within a mile of my house, it is not. My residence is at [redacted]... The shipping company was [redacted] but they were not the people I was dealing with or responsible to pay for shippingDesired Settlement: Refund of the $199.98

Review: I ordered a brand new GE CAFE fridge from HCCOST. After delivery I noticed a slight dent in the fridge. HCCOST acknowledged the damage and said they would send ** to repair and change the entire door with all controls and ice maker. We also noticed abnormal sounds from the fridge and grew concerned about major repair on a new major appliance. Within days if receiving the fridge we stated clearly we wanted to return this fridge as it was damaged and defective.

HCCOST refused to facilitate the return, acted very unethically, tried to backtrack and they were very dishonest. This is he worst case of customer service failure we have ever experienced. Now, we have been stuck with a fridge that freezes our fresh food, has a horrible sound, and has needed 5 repairs in less than 2 months. I continue to ask the seller HCCOST to replace or refund the fridge and to pick it up but they have refused.

My consumer rights were violated when they would not facilitate a return of this damaged defective fridge within the first week as I requested.Desired Settlement: As stated from the first few days, I would like HCCOST to remove the fridge from my home and refund our $2500.

HC Cost is also known as Home Care Appliances and Appliances Connection. Furthermore, they also are joined with AB Freight. Phone numbers overlap. Orders are not met, delivery times are made and then ignored, with no explanation of where the product might be. Weeks go by without receiving product. It is difficult to reach anyone and when you do, they are extremely rude and will not offer assistance. The voicemail system changes depending on when you call. It requests that you leave a message, but then does not give you the option.
