In response to the complaint filed on 9/12/14, I have addressed each item below that has been mentioned in the...

complaint. In regard to the amount of monies spent and owed to HCI, we appreciate the business the client has given HCI and stand behind our products and will service all items within the scope of our contract. On this project HCI was contracted to provide cabinetry and associated material to complete the work shown in the designs, HCI was not contracted for installation of cabinetry. HCI was also contracted to provide and install granite countertops. I have listed each item out below and have addressed them to the best of my ability without personally being at the jobsite.
Bar Issues:
1. Cabinet glass doors and shelves: HCI has these and we are awaiting the opportunity to deliver and pick up balance owed to HCI. We have records of emails to an attorney on behalf of the client dated 9/3/14 and 9/4/14 stating we have this product and will deliver and in turn get paid the balance owed. HCI will provide doors and shelves at first available chance given by the client.
2. Cabinet bore holes in glass door cabinets need to be drilled. These cabinets should have had bore holes upon delivery, however an error occurred during manufacturing and the holes need to be drilled. HCI was told by the contractor they would drill the holes, this has not happened, thus we will send out someone to do this at the same time as delivering other material.
3. Shelf brackets missing, I am assuming these are shelf clips which are delivered with the cabinets, they apparently are missing at site. HCI will provide additional shelf clips at no charge to client.
4. Cabinet locks, per our paperwork, these have been delivered to the site. As HCI was not contracted for installation we are not responsible for installation of locks, only providing the material which has been done.
Bathroom Issues:
1. Vanity legs, these have been delivered by HCI. HCI is not responsible for installation as we were not contracted for this.
Kitchen Issues:
1. Shelf brackets missing, I am assuming again these are shelf clips which are delivered with the cabinets and appear to be missing at site. HCI will provide additional shelf clips at no charge to client.
2. Leg poly coat/color fix, HCI had reviewed this with client and legs are consistent with finish in kitchen. Curved wood will reflect the light differently than flat wood, thus appearing to have a different sheen level. I can visit jobsite and review with client as necessary.
3. Dividers above oven missing, HCI had provided wrong divider kit on original delivery and has since delivered the correct kit. HCI is not responsible for installation, only material per contract.
In summary, HCI has been and is willing to complete our job per contract. We are not contracted for installation of the cabinetry and accessories, only the delivery of the material. I would be glad to talk to the client and schedule the delivery of the parts mentioned above and boring the shelf holes and would expect payment at that time.
