Regarding this complaint, I responded to a toilet stoppage on October 5at approximately 5 pm  the clients complaint was a stopped up toilet and that the toilet was not filling properly. I replaced the fill valve and flapper made by Koehler and Fluidmaster. These are factory replacement parts....

They were adjusted to standard specs. After that I augured the toilet and did not retrieve anything. I tested it by wadding up fifteen feet of toilet paper and flushing the toilet. The toilet took all that paper no problem and worked fine. As my suggestion for a new toilet was not in an attempt to sell her a new toilet but to inform her the new water savers work much better. She asked me the price and I said I am not sure because she had a high end toilet but I said let's see how it goes. I spent over an hour and a half with her to make sure that my repair was working properly. The noise was from the angle stop and was an existing part of the house. It stopped when I adjusted the angle stop. My job was complete and I left. On October 18, I received a call from the customer that the toilet was stopped up. I responded to the call back even though we do not warranty stoppages. I returned that afternoon and augured the toilet again and tested as before by using toilet paper and flushing it. The was flushing properly and not making any abnormal noises. The customer then requested me to look at some floor drains that had nothing to do with my original service call. I explained to her that I did not have my sewer machines with me that day for this particular job. I went ahead and looked at it anyway. I was able to clear one line but not the other. At that point I explained to her that I could not do anymore on that line. She asked me what she owed for repairing that stopped up line. I said since I didn't have my sewer machine I would not charge her for this call. This is the last I heard from her until a week ago. She called to inform me that the toilet had not worked right and that she had a handyman go in and work on it again. I explained to her that her warranty was only for 30 days and being that she contacted me in December the 5th, she was not in warranty on parts and since I don't warranty stoppages I feel that her request for a full refund is unreasonable, especially being I did warranty and respond immediately upon her first request for warranty issues. We as a standard go above and beyond to satisfy our customers. Unfortunately, we do not feel that there is a refund warranted here. Out warranty is clearly written on our invoice that she signed. We feel that the Revdex.com will need to meditate this and that we will respect their decision.
