HEADZUP Reviews (%countItem)
I booked with brie, whom I thought was a licensed cosmologist working out of a salon. I later found out she was not licensed, yet permitted to do hair out of the shop. The owner said she was an "apprentice". I dealt with unprofessional staff. The owner even went to far as to threaten my boyfriend and lock the front doors of his hair shop when I came to give a face to face complaint. I had a hair service that in 24 hours began to fall out and by 3 days my back row and the front row of hair had fallen out and was loose. November 16th (24 hours) I requested a redo, yet November 18th(3 days), I was completely unhappy with her work and requested a refund. First, I was told my redo would not happen until Wednesday earliest, then told I was not going to receive a refund at all. When I questioned why I could not receive a refund I was told: "the money was already spent to pay for a chair at the shop". Not only did I pay for her services but also spent $50 to purchase the hair. This is when I contacted the shop owner(in my head she gave him the money for the chair). Also, AFTER my appointment she put "No refunds" in her Instagram bio, where I found and contact her from. When I contacted the shop owner he was very belligerent and not sympathizing with the fact that I spent money on a hairstyle that was completely falling apart... in his words "you were just posing on Instagram like you loved the hair", which was very rude. I again asked brie to redo my hair and by December 8th I still received no response from her. I was very patient and kind throughout this experience. I am only saying something now because of how I was spoken to and treated was very wrong and unprofessional. It is illegal to have an unlicensed cosmologist working out of your shop "apprentice" or not. I have screenshots of everything, I even went as far as to contact my regular hairstylist to figure out how to speak to brie without seeming disrespectful. When eventually I was disrespected enormously.
