I did receive a check for $600 but they issued it as a refund for the tire and key coverage. That was not what we initially discussed. If I am going to be refunded for the coverage I would like to be refunded for the entire amount which is $1,500.

Review: On April **, 2015, I went to my bank, [redacted]. I wanted to get an approval and $$ amount that they would be willing to loan me so I could buy a different car. Another reason I went to my bank before going to a dealership was because I wanted to avoid at all cost, any hard credit checks. I also knew I would be using [redacted] as this is my bank and we have a good relationship. I sat down with [redacted] and came to a loan amount and [redacted] also gave me a form for the purpose of buying from a private individual, should I go that route. On April **, I went to Healey Bros. in Beacon, NY. I was greeted at the door by [redacted] and I talked briefly about certified used vehicles that I had researched previously on-line. We went outside and to look at these cars and I explained before we even took a test drive, that I had done all the leg work regarding the financing and I had the business card of [redacted] and she highlighted the fax # so the papers could be sent directly to her. After we took the test drive, and went to sit at [redacted]'s desk, I gave him the business card of [redacted]. I went on ahead and purchased the car. To my shock, two weeks later, I received two denial letters for loans I never gave permission to be applied to. I called the credit reporting agencies and they told me to explain the situation to the banks, [redacted] from Warsaw, NY and [redacted] from Kingston, NY and request a "Letter of inquiry deletion notice" and then send that letter to them (the credit reporting agencies) and they would remove it the inquiries. After calling both banks several times, I was told by both that they would not be providing me with any such letter. I then called the credit reporting agencies again and asked for another option. They said Healey Brothers are the ones who should rectify this. I asked Healey bros. for this "Letter of inquiry deletion" letter several times and I am getting no response. The Credit reporting agencies said to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I want a letter of inquiry deletion and to be restored regarding my credit score. I have worked very hard to raise my credit score after a bankruptcy and every point is a milestone. My score has dropped 19 points and I have too many inquiries in a 12 month period due to this. Also, when they asked for my SS#, I assumed it was for ID and purchase, not to do what I specifically and clearly stated NOT TO DO.

Review: I purchased a 2013 Hyundai sonata on 3/**/2015 from healey brothers and at this time I gave them a five thousand dollar deposit and I financed the remaining balance of the car.At the time of the purchase I was charged $795 for road hazard coverage and $695 for key replacement coverage. After I read all of the information for both coverages and what it entailed, I decided that I know longer wanted the coverage. The contract clearly states that I could cancel the coverage within sixty days if no claims were filed and receive a refund.I called [redacted], the [redacted] the next day 3/**/2015 to inform him that I no longer wanted the coverage and would like a refund, [redacted] informed me that I would not be able to receive a cash refund for the coverage but it would have to be taken out of the amount of money that I had financed with the bank, I said that was fine. [redacted] then stated that the paper work would not be ready for me to sign until the following Monday which was 3/**/2015, I said that was fine and that I would come in early that morning. I went back to healey brother's on 3/**/2015 to sign the paper work and at this time [redacted] asked if I would consider taking a six hundred dollar check instead of cancelling the coverage, I wanted to resolve the situation as quickly as possible so I agreed to accept the check. [redacted] said that the check would be ready for pick up on Friday 4/*/2015 and sent out in the mail for me to receive on Monday 4/*/2015.Monday had came and I did not receive the check in the mail. [redacted] has been avoiding my calls so I showed up to his office on Wednesday to pick up the check and he was not in his office so I spoke to man who looked like he was withdrawing from methamphetamine, his name was also [redacted] about picking up the check, he told me that the check would be delivered to healey around noon, 12pm came and went and there was no check.I spoke to [redacted] once he came in and again nothing had been resolved.Desired Settlement: I have been dealing with this issue since the day after I bought the car and it has not been resolved to date. I feel as if I am getting taken in circles in this situation. The coverage was optional and I informed the office (healey) within twenty four hours that I did not want the coverage. I am entitled to a refund, I contacted the company directly and they also told me that the refund would have to go through the dealer. They are flat out refusing to refund my money. I just want my money.
