Healing Hand Massage

Review: Healing Hands massage is a chain of massage service businesses in the suburbs of [redacted], PA. I was scheduled for a massage on April 26, 2014 at 1:00pm on a pre-paid 5 pack of 60-minute deep massages. The evening before I spoke with a customer service representative confirming my appointment on 4/26/2014 at 1:00pm. At 9:30am on 4/26 I received a call from Healing Hands informing me that the massage therapist I scheduled with was not available at 1pm. They suggested that another massage therapist was available at 12pm on 4/26. Even though this was already an inconvenience to me, I agreed to the 12pm slot. I arrived at Healing Hands 10 minutes early for my appointment and spoke with a massage therapist who was at the front desk. She attempted to contact Healing Hands main office and no one picked up. She then attempted to contact the scheduler I spoke with at 9:30am that morning on the scheduler's personal phone and was unable to reach her. The massage therapist informed that I was not on the schedule for 12pm with the therapist I was rescheduled with. The therapist was in another massage appointment and would not be available until 12:30pm. At this time, after waiting for an additional 30 minutes for Healing Hands' massage therapists (not front desk staff) to contact main office or a scheduler, a massage therapist who I was not scheduled with offered to give me a 40-minute massage that was complimentary because she thought the experience I had with the business was unprofessional and stressful. At the end of the complimentary massage, I was provided a co-owner's cell phone number and was told that she would pick up and assist me. I called and left voicemails to [redacted] twice without her returning my call or picking up. Soon after, I received an email from [redacted] informing that I would receive a refund on my gift card and to accept the 40 minute massage I received as an act of good will.Desired Settlement: I would like for Healing Hands to refund the remainder of my gift card on my credit card and to give a complimentary massage that is pre-planned and stress free.
