While our primary function as a cosmetology college is to provide educational opportunities to our students, we also strive to ensure guest satisfaction in the student salonWe utilize certain safeguards in our business to ensure that all Student Salon guests understand that only students perform services and that prices are communicated upfrontIn reviewing your ticket, price quote, and receipt, I am able to see that you acknowledged the quoted initial price of $for the requested service (Ombre) and that you signed our release acknowledging that a student would be performing the serviceIn addition, our Lead Instructor assisted the student to create a formula for your hair based on its history, which you providedUnfortunately, we believe that an inaccuracy in the history caused the need for the corrective bleaching serviceThis correction did not double the priceIt added $We believe our Student Salon personnel followed the proper procedure by charging you $as you were originally quotedHowever, we found that the $additional corrective service charge was not properly disclosed and the tone of the request for payment by our front desk staff certainly should have been more professionalAgain, we sincerely apologize for your disappointment and the mishandlingFor your inconvenience we are going to process a refund for the full $
