Review: Opening sealed packages of the c-pap parts for respiratory apnea, their odor was sickening, I asked to return those and have a charge of $190.67 cancelled, since the material is a health hazard. The Company refused saying that the purchase was in Feb 2013. However the material was sealed and guaranteed by Health Complex.Desired Settlement: I want the company to take the material referred as unhealthy and cancel the charge of $190.67 that is still pending. I can prove to any person that the material inside of the sealed packages are unhealthy and it may be the reason that I was having problems to sleep even though I was using the material properly.

Response:

The customer has received the same product made by the same manufacturer many times and has never complained to us about it before. They are made by a reliable manufacturer and they go through many quality checks. We spoke with him last week and told him to keep the product and that we would credit all the charges on his account. The problem has been resolved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Although I don't think that the product sold to me still sealed, did not keep the quality defended by the company. I would suggest that the company review the quality control on the manufacturer's side. Keep in mind that I opened the product that was sent to me earlier in the first packages that I've received, and that proved to contain a bad odor. Please follow up on that so not to create a health hazard.
