Review: Requested cash deposit refund. Was told they do not do "cash customer refunds" ( $180.00 given on 7/31 for 6 therapy sessions) reason for the refund as follows: On 8-8-13 I had a doctor follow up visit.The visit started with a nurse filling out the standard 10-15 pages of questions ect. This followed by the young Physicians Assistant. He ask if I had had my MRI ( I had this done approx 7 weeks before and had a previous visit with [redacted] to review it. ) The Physicians Assistant found the MRI and read it. He ask what are we going to do about this. I explained to him that [redacted] said I need to have surgery. I had explained to [redacted] that I do not have insurance. I can not afford surgery or to be out of work for one year. I had opted to instead have therapy at their facility which was working very well. It was helping with pain management and range of motion. I could tell by his reaction this aggravated the young assistant, but he said nothing. At one hour and forty five minutes into my appointment I was seen by [redacted]. He came into the room aggravated. ( I assume the young assistant had a talk with him.) At a almost yelling tone he said " I am going to read this one line from the MRI report. Patient has a 4 mm tear in the ____ tendon. NOTHING I repeat NOTHING will help this other than surgery. Oh I see you are a contractor (sarcastically) now it makes since."I grew up on welfare and remember health officials looking down on us for this. When I become 18 I swore I would never be back on welfare. ( and I have NOT )I have not felt that feeling is a long time. I guess the term " Cash Customer " is the new term for welfare recipient white trash treatment.Pleas help me receive my therapy deposit.ThanksDon CummingsDesired Settlement: $180.00 deposit for treatment not yet received (please note this was NOT for the trash treatment that was $80.00 with I paid at the time of the visit.)
