I am responding to the complaint I received from Mr*** Please read all of it They contracted me to do some interior painting I gave them a price for coats In the middle of the job, they changed the product causing me to have to put coats They understood it
was going to be extra Upon receiving the bill for the upstairs, they didn't want to pay for the 3rd coat So they wanted me to continue to do the rest of the job for a coat price & I said no So I took a big loss from them not paying for the 3rd coat on the first phase of the painting They terminated the rest of the contract I did not cry about losing money on phase So they said I could pick up my equipment on Monday So I went to pick up my equipment & all the rest of the paint I bought for the whole house was not there So I asked them to give me back my paint or pay me for it They said they wanted to see the receipts So I mailed them certified with a return receiptThey never picked up the mail and it was returned back to me The price for this paint was $ I contacted my attorney & he sent them an e-mail to ask them for payment that was due to me & that was when the negative responses started This job was done at the beginning of March While we were doing the job, they had nothing but praise for me & my crew I have an e-mails from Mr*** that said I was the neatest, and a pleasure to work with In response to me being late, they asked me to be there at 9:00AM, we were always there on time In fact, one morning I knocked at their door at 8:55AM and they complain to me for being too early So not being on time is not true I started & finished the 1st phase on timeI said I would be done on Saturday even putting in overtime to get all the extras they asked for done & putting a 3rd coat on for no money I bought all the paint for phase & and they kept the paint for phase I'm not crying about losing $2,for the job I just wanted my paint that I bought back for phase I should of had them sign a change order contract, but I trusted themSo it is my own fault for losing the money You learn by your own mistakes I been in business for years have had a handful of complaints.l But I have always corrected them to make them happy, I have over happy customers over the year of being in business I work hard for my money I am honest & fair to all my customersSome people have to get something for nothingMy father always said it doesn't matter what people say about you as long as your honest, but if your right fight back and that is what I am doing, to at least get $for the paint
