I was sold a dental policy by Health Insurance Alliance and we were informed that it covers ortho. After going to an in network dental provider we were informed that Ortho is not covered. We again called HIA and was informed that Ortho was covered. We called Ameritas the insurance company and informed that ortho is not covered.
There are so many companies involved I have sheets of paper covered with notes, many phone numbers, many companies, its a mess.
This company literally lied to us about the coverage and I am pursuing full reimbursement for the premiums we payed.
Stay clear of this company!

Nightmare!!! DO NOT USE THEIR SITE
DO NOT USE THEIR SITE! I have received 50 phone calls in less than 24 hours from them AFTER I contacted them multiple times to NOT CONTACT ME!

The business will render your cellphone useless if you provide them with the number.
Roughly two weeks ago I searched online for health insurance quotes. I requested a quote from this business and gave them my cell phone number. The phone began ringing almost immediately. I talked with a couple of callers to get health insurance quotes, but the company kept sending more callers. I've attempted to block the callers but they seem to be able to use other numbers to keep calling. My cell phone rings so much that it has become pretty much useless to me. I attempted to contact getmehealthinsurance.org but they don't seem to offer any obvious way to stop the calls. I don't know what to do except throw away my cell phone. I really wish I had never contacted this business!

Desired Outcome

I'm afraid to give this business my home or business phone number for fear they'll also inundate that phone line as well. Please have them stop the calls!!!!

A licensed agent spoke with Mr. Straten once on 2/13. We attempted to reach Mr. Straten again on 2/17, 2/20, 2/26, 2/27, and lastly on 3/2. We do not make a habit of inundating potential clients with phone calls and sympathize with Mr. Straten's frustrations, but we are not the ones responsible for the amount of calls Mr. Straten is experiencing. We have also added Mr Straten's phone number to our internal Do Not Call List so he will no longer receive any more calls from us.

All I wanted was for their sales agents to quit calling me. According to their response, they put me on a "no call list". Now I can try turning my cell phone on and see if it starting rings again or if the calls quit. I feel this company should make it easier to get on a "no call list". At least put the option somewhere on their website so that future victims can opt out quicker without getting a new cell phone number. Thank you to Revdex.com for helping!

I used this site this morning to look for health insurance options. I put in my phone number and they have a called me 10x today with different numbers. This is clearly a scam

This letter is in response to ***. I would like to address Mr. allegations regarding GetMeHealthInsurance.org, stating that our company is a "scam".

GetMeHealthInsurance.org is affiliated with Health Insurance Alliance LLC. Our agency is licensed and our home state is Florida. We are also license to transact business in the state of California. Our DBA is ALLIANCE HEALTH INSURANCE AGENCY.

We reviewed our records and according to our records we contacted Mr. only once on March 12, 2019. He spoke with one of our licensed agents. The agent inquired if he was looking for medical insurance and Mr. asked the agent if this was *** The agent asked him if he currently has *** and he said yes, that he was inquiring about extending his *** The agent offered him the phone number for *** He said no, that he would look it up. They both hung up. Since then, his phone number was placed on the Do Not Call list, which can take up to 24 hours to be activated.

When a customer/client adds their information in our website, on the Insurance Quotes tab it clearly states the following:

We're a health insurance brokerage with agents licensed in states across the country. We will provide you free, no-obligation quotes and we can process your enrollment over the phone. Our licensed agents work with you directly and have a full customer service support team for questions pre and post enrollment. By executing these agreements, you further authorize Health Insurance Alliance, LLC. And its partners or affiliates, to contact you via automatic telephone dialing systems or by artificial or pre-recorded message, and you acknowledge that you understand that you are not required to enter into these agreements as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

We are here to provide assistance and to meet our client's medical insurance goals and to protect themselves and their family.

Mr. may have also visited other websites, where he may have entered his information and he may also be receiving calls from those agencies.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Mr. ***. Our office will no longer be contacting Mr. ***.

I apologize, I was also called 15 other times on 3/12 and many times since then. I don't remember putting my information into any other websites that day, but it is possible. Maybe also potentially a data security issue
