The Broker was unable to provide confirmation to HealthPass that the employee termination form was submitted HealthPass due to computer issues. As the administrator, HealthPass is required to adhere to specific compliance requirements governing transaction timelines. In an effort to assist the group, HealthPass submitted an appeal to the carrier and obtained approval to process the transaction per the groups requested termination date.

I signed up directly online and then two weeks later called to access my benefits. I spent an hour on the phone talking to four different people. no one knew how to help. all I wanted was the advertised benefits namely monthly vitamins and a home healthkit. I finally asked for a number to call myhealthpass corporate offices and was given a non working number. their online chat does not work either it is always busy and says try later. their 800 number reaches agents with whom they subcontract and they have no knowledge and only seek to tranfer elsewhere. very frustrating and so far just a rip off with no way to resolve problems.

Review: Our insurance broker had provided us with this company and stated they were very good, unfortunately after we terminated an employee and forwarded them the termination papers they did not file correctly with the insurance carrier. About 3 months after the termination the billing error was noticed but on Health Pass' side they did not stop the billing and we were charged for a total of 7 months before they admitted to their glitch. I was told a refund was due to us and have not been able to get a straight answer on why it has taken an additional year ( and still waiting) for the refund. I receive bills every month form them stating we have a negative balance. As requested in every conversation I would like my money back, they have nothing but bad practices, we waited over 60 days or more for some member's to receive identification cards or any information. I have asked to come and personally pick up the check and they have refused that stating its all up to the carrier. It was not our mistake it was that of Health Pass. I was in conversation with [redacted] and have emails between her and myself stating we would receive the refund and yet nothing. I've explained my situation to several people in the company but yet I can never speak to [redacted] again nor the [redacted] or [redacted] of the company. I think my request that I have my money returned to me is not that crazy and should not take over a year.Desired Settlement: I want my refund back, total amount $ 3585.49

Review: In February 2013 I left my job @ [redacted] and went onto Cobra health insurance through Health Pass. The billing for Health Pass Cobra was handled by [redacted] from Michigan. I paid my Cobra bill from March 2013 through December 2013. [redacted]s has confirmed the same. Even though I paid for the health insurance through December 2013 Health Pass informed the insurance provider [redacted] that I only paid through March 2013 and as a result my health insurance claims after March 2013 have been denied despite my paying for the coverage through December 2013. The billing company for the Health Pass Cobra ([redacted]) has reached out to Health Pass numerous times to have this corrected and they are not receivng a response from them- I have also done the same and am not receiving a response. I would like to know how they can take my payments through December 2013 and only provide coverage through March 2013.Desired Settlement: I would like my coverage with Health Pass to show that it was active through December 2013. If Health Pass updates their system the insurance carrier [redacted] will in turn have their system updated and my health insurance claims can be reprocessed and paid.
