I was just made aware of this complaint from Ms. [redacted] this weekend.  I am surprised that the situation escalated to the point of a complaint to the Revdex.com since the total amount of the dispute was $9.11, which was credited to her balance on her account.  There was some confusion due to the...

change in her insurance coverage at the beginning of the year, which ended up in charges having to be resubmitted and a resulting patient balance of $1.73 for each visit.  There was also an inadvertent entry of code [redacted] versus [redacted], which resulted in an over-payment of $5.65.  The combined amount of these adjustments was $9.11.  Since the patient had a balance on her account, these credits were applied to her balance for date of service April 17th.   The patient certainly has access to her account and a full and reasonable explanation of these charges and adjustments.  We would be glad to meet with her in person, or mail her a summary to be sure she has a full understanding of any and all transactions.  We did have a change in leadership in March, so maybe she did speak to someone who is no longer here.  I am the new Executive Director and was first made aware of the complaint over the weekend.  I called the patient earlier today and left her a message apologizing on behalf of the organization.    However, I am very frustrated that our company's good record and reputation can be called into question over such a minor and easily addressable issue.  Please let me know, if there are any steps I need to take to further resolve the matter.  I am easily accessible via email, or on one of the numbers below.   Sincerely,   [redacted]
