Review: In January 2015 I called HEFCU and requested to close my account. I also asked that my $980 plus dollars in my share savings be forwarded to my address. I have called twice and HEFCU refuses to close my account. The second time I called I was told the account had never been closed and the "check got lost in the mail". HEFCU is draining my savings by charging me $1.50 every two weeks for a service fee, maintenance fee and low share balance fee! All I want is my money and account closed. Please stop holding my money hostage!!Desired Settlement: I want my savings closed immediately and my $980 refunded to me.

[redacted] was a charged a low balance fee since balance was under $100 which began after the $940 withdrawal was processed from her account on 2/12/15. The low balance fee of $5.00 will be credited back to her account as a courtesy. the other fees charged to her account was for receiving paper statements of $1.50 per statement cycle. this fee is charged to all members that do not opt for electronic statements. unfortunately we can not waive that fee. Her current balance is 2.19 and a 5.00 credit for the low balance fee will be applied and the new balance of $7.19 will be sent to her today in the form of a check. refer to [redacted] under fee schedule for the disclosures on fees.

I am rejecting this response because:
I never received my check for $940. I've been calling asking for my money and to close my account. Should I file a complaint with DOBI next??
